You are only a few 100 metres from the beach. Stroll along the outskirts of Hornbæk and Dronningmølle and let your gaze wander over the vast sea. You can also visit the Rudolph Tegners Museum on a large silted-up dune or the Munkeruphus art museum with its beautiful garden right on the beach. The capital Copenhagen is just under an hour's drive away, where you can spend at least a whole day due to the wide range of leisure activities on offer, such as Tivoli.
