"A clean and tidy room freshly painted. Kettle in the room. Bed was and old sprung mattress that bent in half and springs stuck in your back. Completely knackered. Comfy bed is basic essential. No check in information/instructions provide. No reception. Bathroom was fairly modern but shower was leaking and floor peeling off. Very bad stench as water backed up in sink and drain blocked. "Wonderful friendly staff who went out of their way to make our three-night stay enjoyable. Loved the tranquility of the rooms that are on the back of the hotel overlooking a koi pond. Very convenient for us while visiting friends around the Guildford area."

"I enjoyed my stay and the staff were great. But I had problems getting shower going and there was no heating on. Both problems were fixed but there could have been more info. Especially as the pub was closed the Sunday evening I arrived so no help available."

"Clean single bed, kettle and supplies, and en suite which was all I needed. Breakfast was included but was DIY so I didn't bother. This provided a decent option in the area I wanted to stay. Easy walk to Tooting Broadway tube. I did feel the mattress could do with being firmer."

"Didn’t know what to expect however on arrival we were given a free upgrade to a 4 poster room, the original wood work and the 4 poster itself was nice, the host came out to greet us and carry my bags he was very warm and welcoming he had a wonderful aura about him. The room was spacious, and subtly decorated can’t go wrong with white, it’s originally was quaint and peaceful. It was quiet even though your are only a few minutes from Gatwick, only thing I say is bring a torch if you want to go...

"3 of us stayed in the 3 single bed family room on a room only basis the room was extremely clean with en suite shower room. The beds were very comfortable tea and coffee was supplied and when we needed more milk they bought us more. The room also had doors out to a little patio area overlooking a pool with fish and a lawn beyond."

"Absolutely terrible booking. There was no communication from the owner about check in details. Had to ring someone in Pakistan just to let them know that I had booked who then passed me on to some third party management company who then also had no idea of our booking. Then received emails to check to some different property after our check out time. "
