"Beautiful place, great room and bath!! Amazing property and breakfast. A little far from town or any restaurants. Without a form of transportation you have to arrange a tuktuk or walk far to eat dinner or lunch. Would be 5 star if they servered more meals and had a scooter for rent or bicycles "

"Lovely house and grounds. The pool was beautiful and well tended by the dedicated gardner. Tara Gardens is such a special place. The staff looked after our every need. Will definitely book again!"

"We had an excellent stay! The home was walkable to supermarkets, fast food outlets, shopping etc, super comfortable when we were inside any weather. "WOW. We walked in and realized that there are security cameras everywhere and the fact that the caretaker was to stay with us is not advertised at all. We didnt feel comfortable so we just left.. the worst part? Hotels.com was never able to reach the manager, so we never got refunded for the money. we did NOT stay here, so i would think twice before staying here. "We stayed at Devinda's place for 4 nights in January. It is located not to far from Colombo with easy access to Southern Expressway and other amenities. It is very clean and located in a very safe area. Devinda communicated with us through out the booking process and leading up to the stay. Also helped us in getting settled. Definitely stay here

"This is a fancy place, the lobby reminded me of a cruise ship. There was even live music! The swimming pool is large and pristine, and you can watch a variety of birds in the river while you soak in the pool. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the facilities are first class and the dinner buffet is amazing."
