We stayed for one night during our anniversary weekend and had dinner in the hotel restaurant. Our dinners were unique to the restaurant and really delicious. The staff were all wonderful and welcoming, the room was clean and had what we needed. The history of the hotel is neat so if you like staying in places with a little history to it, this is definitely the place.

The hotel’s common area are lovely and the room was comfortable. Nice hot water in the bathroom. Breakfast food was very good. Be aware that this hotel has multiple stairs and NO elevators. Not even a bellman/woman to help you with your luggage. The breakfast is ordered at a walk up counter, no substitutions allowed and the customers need to gather their own condiments. Staff is in need of customer service training.

This is a historic property so there are some “amenities” that others may feel are missing. We adored the hotel and its staff. The rooms were comfortable and I slept great! Very quiet. Dinner was fantastic at Mae’s and the porch is such a wonderful place to enjoy the weather and view. Will definitely stay here again!

The Summit Inn is such a special place, and the staff is absolutely wonderful. Hopefully all the rooms will be renovated soon. My room was an upgraded one, and I loved it. I do wish that there were small frigs and microwaves in the room.

The Summit Inn is quaint and convenient to many attractions and activities in the Laurel Highlands. Staff are helpful and friendly. Items to improve would be amenities like a coffee maker in the room and better room lighting. The air conditioner was noisy, and there is no elevator. Slight musty smell in very old rooms.

Beautiful historic hilltop hotel with great views and an excellent restaurant. The elk stew was delicious. Our only suggestion is that they install grab bars in the tub/showers

The hotel is like stepping back in time. The property is well preserved with a dramatic staircase in the lobby and a very welcoming fireplace. My grandchildren enjoyed the indoor pool. My husband and I relaxed in the outdoor hot tub. The staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would recommend it highly.

The staff was exemplary, friendly, and anxious to assist and help with questions. The restaurants in the Inn were good not great. The restaurants were convenient, busy, and wait staff was extremely nice and helpful. It was conveniently located to visit Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater and Lureal Caverns.

We only stayed for a night while traveling, but we were pleasantly surprised by this gem! While the Inn was built in 1907, they had obviously kept it in excellent condition. It is not accessible if you can’t do stairs. Great place for weddings and events. I’d like to go back when we can stay a little longer.

A beautiful and historic hotel with a lot of history, built in 1907 with many prominent guests that visited the hotel. As you walked through the door it felt like you stepped back into time. We had such wonderful stay and the staff was great. We will be back.

Dinning and staff are true strengths. The Inn was majestically old. Lobby and public areas are in great traditional style and condition but the rooms need updating.

This historic property is a gem in the Laurel Highlands.Charming building and excellent bar/ restaurant. Spectacular sunsets from the veranda. Some rooms better than others - ask for a room with a view. No elevators and many stairs so ask for first floor accommodations if mobility limited. Close to many local parks and attractions yet quiet and national park lodge like.
