The Hygge House is just 10 minutes to Ohiopyle State Park, hiking, biking, skiing and whitewater rafting; and just 10 minutes to downtown Uniontown. Great mountain views, restaurants and hiking within minutes. Located in a perfect spot to enjoy everything the Laurel Highlands has to offer. Good for couples and solo adventurers. Hot tub, Gas grill, WiFi, a private outdoor sitting area with bike storage are included. Our other rentals are on property, and within view, but you will still have plenty of privacy. Hygge House is located, from the main road, up the driveway, to the Right, and go up 2 sets of steps to the door. This property is dog friendly. 2 dogs Max * Additional flat fee will be charged per pet, if necessary, after receiving your signed Rental Agreement.

Couples getaway
Perfect spot for our short weekend getaway. Everything we needed and a great location. Great for visiting FLW properties, Ohiopyle, etc. Unfortunately, we arrive in the dark Friday evening in the rain and fog. A light shining on the property sign would be a nice addition. Overall. A great experience.

Inside was very clean, bed very comfortable. Hot tub was nice. Outdoor very worn, not clean. Description did not include fact that cottages are very close together. Also their were only 3 spoons and we called and told housekeeping would drop off utensils but never did.

Cute place, great location
Very nicely decorated cottage in a great location if your coming for the state park or Fallingwater, Polymath or Kentuck Knob. It's small. Definitely just for 2 but great that it is dog friendly. I would stay again.

Great experience!
We had such a nice stay at the cabin. The cabin was so clean and cozy. We loved the hot tub and deck! My ONLY complaint, we did not have enough room in the outside trash bin for all of our trash, we had to bring a bag home with us. There was another couple staying at the little cabin attached to ours and between their two bags of trash and our two the can was full. Other than that we had a perfect stay.

Just a two night stay for my fiance and I. Perfect for just two! The rental itself was very cozy, but the bed left a lot to be desired. The mattress had a dip in the middle the whole way accross! Other than that, we rally enjoyed our stay and itd location was great!

Property was clean and in very good order. Kitchen was stocked well with dishes, utensils, and pans. Cozy little one bedroom, Nice amenities, Hot tub and grill work great, and a nice little outdoor firepit area. Would recommend and I would definitely visit here again.

Great Time
We had a great time. Vinnie, our boxer, loved the back yard as it was big enough for him to chase his frisbee. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. Very glad for the little table on the deck. We sat out there a lot! All in all a great time.

Very cute place. Neat and tidy. Just the right size for two. The private hot tub was our favorite part! We tried to use the washer/dryer, but the clothes wouldn't dry completely. Maybe you could leave instructions for the washer/dryer. Overall an excellent trip at an excellent place. We'll be back! Thank you.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was just a little confusing figuring out which unit was ours. The house was clean and well-appointed, except we never found any eating utensils. There was a drawer, but no utensils - so we used ice cream scoops lol The outside (and doors) could def use some maintenance. Broken items strewn around the yard (not a good look) so had to be careful with the dogs who like to explore. Overall nice stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: To whom it may concern, I assume this email will take a while even to be received due to the lack of quality customer service impression I’ve already received. First off, I’m lucky to even be alive to send this message. I’ve attached ALL correspondence (yes, including any spam messages) and NONE of them have the code that was promised to be sent 12 hours before my arrival. I arrived Friday evening later than expected due to a snowstorm. Because of the storm, I wasn’t able to make sure the security code was sent to me. The roads were too dangerous to be checking for that information on my phone. When I arrived, I called the customer service number,, provided and was told by a person named “Jason” who identified himself as a “manager” that he marked my note as an emergency, but when I explained it was -11 degrees and had nowhere else to go, he agreed that wasn’t ideal and he “hoped someone got back to me.” Keep in mind, there were people who were literally getting trapped in their cars and dying at this point in time with the weather conditions. I know because I am a National News Manager and worked at WTAE for three years before moving to NYC. Considering the dangerous temperatures, I sought other means of an overnight stay. My friend who was with me, her name was listed on the document that asked for all participants, and my dog all had to pay over $300 for us to have accommodations last minute. Our car also broke down halfway to the hotel because as the mechanic said, “we had it running idle in the weather conditions,” which was because we were in front of your rental spot trying to get into the cabin we paid for. Then at 1 a.m., we received a text claiming to have the code. Of course, at that point, we were warm and safe a good chunk of miles away having had to spend copious amounts of money just to make s

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Hygge was big enough for 2 adults and our dog. I wouldn't recommend more adults. The kitchen appliances are nice but there was only 2 sets of utincles and no cooling oils or condiments. We take our own. The bed was pretty comfortable but a little bouncy. We've been spoiled by other Air bnb properties which had new,lush memory foam. The hot tub was nice but the enclosure needs a real makeover to get rid of old non working lights. The fireplace area also needs a makeover. The fireplace needs replacing and there should be several comfortable chairs..there were none up there..the old ones were thrown behind the house. We love the location just which the property was better kept. It was clean

Hygge House with a Mouse
Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this rental was great as was about 20 minutes from all the activities we hoped to do in Ohiopyle. We enjoyed use of the hot tub and loved the view we had of the garden. The reviews do note the hot tub is secluded, but you can see the neighboring rental's hot tub. We also experienced one of the other visitors using the garden area for their dogs which then turned into a conversation with them as the garden's entrance is right next to the hot tub. Although our rental was very clean we did have a mouse join us in the living area and then kitchen. Also when lookin for the mouse we noted there was a mouse trap hidden behind one of the large bottom drawers in the kitchen. We would recommend keeping all your food securely sealed and bringing your own dishes seeing as the mouse trap is right where dishes were being stored. We did have to rearrange cars and park strategically in the narrow driveway as one of the other couples brought two cars and continued to use the parking spot closest to our cabin. There are three rentals on the property. Overall we did enjoy our visit, but most likely will try a different property next visit.

Great weekend away
We had a wonderful time at the Hygge Haus! My husband and I celebrated our 13 year wedding anniversary in Ohiopyle. This house was perfect for our needs and we enjoyed the private hot tub after a day of hiking. We would definitely recommend this property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very comfy, well-renovated suite with private hot tub. Loved the updated kitchen and pet-friendly aspects, like easy to clean flooring. However, amenities were pretty sparse (just one coffee packet for multi cup coffee maker but many k-cups, no scrubber for dishes). The listing mentions to bring everything you need but we still managed to forget some stuff and would have liked more backups on site! Despite this, we enjoyed ourselves and loved this as our home base for exploring Fallingwater.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Once we found it, nice. There were 3 different units with the same address. We went to the one we thought was ours because that was the address we had. Unfortunately, we couldn't get in. I called customer service and it took 45 minutes for someone to call back. Also, when I booked I let them know we had a dog. I was charged for the two night. Then, charged again for a pet fee.
