"The lodging was nice, there currently is construction behind the Cabana but nothing to noisy after night fall. Saturday and Sunday nights were a serious issue though the place next door played Karaoke until 0200 am!! But other than that we had wonderful time."

A lot of really nice local restaurants, people are so friendly. Not a big village though so it's best to get money (1 ATM that doesn't work great) and some supplies from the larger cities. There are options, but limited.

Pretty sleepy town, but they know which side their bread is buttered on. Locals are friendly and not at all hostile to tourists.

We stayed three days at the Muy'Ono and three days at the Jaguar Reef at the other end of Hopkins. Jaguar Reef is a much more sophisticated resort and had better food, beach and living quarters.
