This was my first time in Tokyo. It was a fantastic place to stay. I will be recommending it to people traveling to Tokyo. The staff were all friendly and the room was very clean.

LARGE room, bathtub! LOTS of amenities e.g. all the toiletries, bath salts, pajamas to use each night, turn down with water and chocolate. welcome sweets.
GREAT service. breakfast buffet was good but not as extensive as four seasons. Japanese breakfast was the same each day, though extensive!
location: quiet, beautiful grounds, great views. close to subway. though not close to anything interesting e.g. shopping etc. though walkable to imperial palace

Though it is a busy hotel it is still very zen. Also it is right by the metro station and at the same time away from the hustle and bustle of other neighborhoods.
Also the breakfast buffet is the best breakfast I ever had.
