Marine Surf is centrally located in Waikiki, with a great variety of places nearly at its doorsteps. Just a few steps away from the building is a large concentration of shopping centers, such as Waikiki Shopping Plaza, BeachWalk, and the International Marketplace. As well as an ever-evolving scene of cafes, happy hours, international cuisine, and late-night bars to relax at with an exotic island refreshment.
There is truly no end to the stores to wander through, unique dining options, and entertainment such as Hula lessons or cultural shows closeby.
But, if you prefer to explore more of Waikiki or even the greater Oahu area, there are several transportation options.
There is a bus stop located 3 minutes from the Marine Surf building, which can take you to new surfing, snorkeling, shopping or sightseeing locations.
There is also a Biki rental bike stand nearby, which can be used to explore Waikiki.

Nice place and a perfect spot
Nice clean unit with full kitchen. Parking situation is a total bonus. The place is right in the middle of all the hot spots in downtown Waikiki. Will definitely repeat my stay next time I visit.

We stayed for 5 nights and had a great experience. The parking spot was a huge bonus. I really enjoyed on how easy the instructions were to access and exit the unit. We really enjoyed our stay here. It is exactly like the photos on the listing.

The condo was just what we expected. It was a bit noisy at night due to location but we new that from past reviews. Its to be expected as you are in the heart of Waikiki. Two short blocks away from all the action and beaches. Noise died down around 10pm. We had good sleeps.

Surprisingly roomy, centrally located, stocked studio.
We enjoyed our stay here, plenty of storage and felt roomy. The parking is easy to get in and out, we drove all over the island. Waikiki is a quick walk. The floor needs a deep cleaning, but you can’t beat the price. We would stay again. Waikiki is noisy, there was live music almost every night.

Comfortable and easy access to everything
We really appreciated the location, balcony, quiet building, assigned parking, and thorough instructions. The modest kitchen had everything we needed (simple breakfast and snacks). The place was clean and bright. The AC provided white noise (it’s a bustling area), so we slept great. Great variety of restaurants, coffee shops and retail shops in the area. Easy walk to the beach via public access next to the Royal Hawaiian hotel. We would stay here again.

I have stayed in this building many times before due to the location The unit offers the essentials which is good. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Would suggest the property management team review their customer service as they do not answer their phone line and only respond to emails after several urgent sent. They also do not have any after hours availability for any urgent matters which is a first as many other companies do.

Pros: Location, parking spot, clean building, clean laundry room and facilities, good amount of towels and hand towels available, friendly managing agent who came over herself to resolve a small issue on check in. Cons: Noisy AC and the fact you have to empty water from the bucket under it on the balcony, the balcony has too much furniture on it, a big table that cant really be used and should be removed, sliding door to balcony is extremely difficult to open, feels like its jammed on something. The tiled floor needs a deep clean, not sure if it ever gets mopped. The curtains could do with a good clean. Overall it was an ok stay. The parking spot and location were the redeeming factors.

6-night stay at Marine surf
Over all stay is great. The small hassle was our code to the mailbox. It was not included in the email. The building manager had to call for it and we had to wait a while before we could check in. When we got our keys, it was very convenient to go in and out. Everything is walking distance including the beach and the free parking is a big plus. We would highly recommend the place. On the day that we are leaving, we cannot leave our keys and the laundry card in the mailbox because we don’t have the code so we had to wait for the building manager again and that day he came in at 9 am. We were a little late on our schedule: Suggestion: Make sure you get the code before you check in.

Great location walkable to everything and with free parking!
Nice, comfortable place to stay. Loud music from the street every night that was, for the most part, masked by the loud constant roar of the air conditioning unit. This is not necessarily a complaint, as we all know the streets are very busy. Since are not late nighters, we appreciated the noise from the A/C! Loved the walkability to the beach, restaurants, mall, shopping (both high end and discount). We also appreciated the disposable house slippers that were provided to assist in keeping the floors clean. There were some very dirty, old throw pillows on the top shelf of the open closet shelves that desperately need to be discarded. Surely nobody would ever use them for anything. Also, there were no pillow cases for the extra bed pillows that were provided for the futon sofa. The bottom of the shower curtain was a little moldy and should be replaced. Overall it was pretty good, and the price was great! I’m not sure I would look forward to staying there again.

The apartment was clean and in a very convenient location, right in the middle of Waikiki she you can walk anywhere. Getting check- in instructions were a little difficult. The building is Dates, so if you're looking for luxury, this is not the place. But overall, it was a good stay.

Not bad for price
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed here for about a week. Ultimately chose this rental because it came with a parking spot which made it a little cheaper then having to pay $40 per day at a different hotel. The ac unit releases a lot of water and the tray that’s used to catch the water is flimsy and cracked all over so it’s hard to empty the water like you’re asked to do without spilling dirty ac water that you have to clean up. I suggest that they change the tray out with a stronger one thats not broken, or better yet change the entire AC unit to one that doesn’t excrete so much water. Other than that it was fine. Location was good. 24 hour McDonald’s across the street was convenient and the security guard was super nice and helpful. Would I stay here again? Maybe, but might go somewhere else due to the AC issue even if it cost a little more.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a small studio in a great location. The furnishings are dates and basic but serviceable. The studio could have been cleaned a bit better. The floor was dirty and we had to sweep and mop when we arrived. There was hair and toilet paper in the toilet. The closet door was broken and off its hinges. The shower curtain was a broken tension rod that fell twice on us. And, the largest burner on the stove was broken. The parking, though free, is in a very tight garage with only one lane for entrance and exit which made for some inconvenient and nerve wracking moments. (We even accidentally dented our car rental trying to get into the garage after someone parked very close to the entrance. If you're not used to tight parking garages and spaces, this rental is not for you.) On top of that, despite being on the 12th floor, it was very noisy. When we first arrived, we very nearly wanted to cancel our reservation and take the loss but stuck it out.All that said, the location is great. Walking distance to International Market Place, Marukame Udon, and the beach. The two restaurants in the building were pricy but decent. And overall, the stay was tolerable for what we paid. We will probably never stay in this unit again but would consider other rentals in the building.
