Almost very good...
We booked in July looking for a property near the centre of Honfleur with free parking nearby.
I would happily have paid the full amount up front but there seemed to be no way to do so and we were advised that the full payment had to be made by 4 August.
On the morning of 4 August I had still not heard from anyone and had to contact the host directly to find out how to.
It is very difficult to stop immediately outside the property so I rapidly left my wife outside with all our luggage and headed to the 'free parking 150 metres away' only to find it required hefty payment.
Eventually we did find a free car park nearly a kilometer away which we used for the rest of the week.
It is disappointing that we were not informed that the nearby car park was no longer free and had not been for several months as it was prominently mentioned in the advertising.
The property itself was ideally located and Honfleur delightful.
The bedroom and bathroom beautifully presented, the downstairs lounge a bit shabby and could easily be improved, the kitchen pretty good (no microwave) but a little short on equipment. There was no kettle as the previous occupant had taken it home with them.
In summary we would recommend the place but the host should have let us know in advance about the parking situation. The concierge were always polite and sympathetic.
