Gary and Dawn do a great job with their properties as we have previously stayed at the Fox in the Hen house, which is great as well. The Green green grass of home was amazing. Very private. Very warm and cozy. Staying in the wintertime the road is seasonal as listed which was not an issue as we have a 4 wheel drive SUV but plan accordingly if you do not. "It was as described. We enjoyed the gas stove, birds, and took a daily hike. The host was quick to converse via text, and very considerate with nice touches like fresh flowers. The view and the vibe were excellent.It was a little challenging with regard to food because many of the restaurants aren’t open M-Thurs during the winter. I brought easy, quick things and also had a few items pre-made. It worked out perfectly."
