If you like fishing, scalloping, exploring nature, swimming in the cool natural spring water or just relaxing and reading a good book in a hammock or sitting by the firepit at night...then the Homosassa’s Waterside Retreat is the perfect place to take a break, unwind and have loads of fun.

The house is “FULLY" furnished with anything and everything you could ever need down to all your spices for cooking your amazing dinners in the fully equipped kitchen also includes Nespresso machine and regular coffee pot (both with coffee and condiments), blender, crockpot, full dishes, pots & pans, and utensils., With a private dock (+power) for your boat, parking for your boat trailer, a large screened-in patio, BBQ grill, smoker, hammock, and firepit all you need to do is bring your clothes, personal items, and what you like to eat… the rest is here.

With the nearby restaurants, the waterfront dining is accessible by boat or car, with indoor and outside open-air seating. Old Homosassa is a golf-cart-friendly community. If you don’t have a boat or golf cart, there are tons of rentals available, or hire a charter to scallop, fish, or see the Manatee in the fall and winter.

This is truly a hidden waterside oasis where you will have access to plenty of water, fun & sun but also a relaxing private escape.

Birthday Celebration!
What a great place to stay! We had an awesome time and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We had a family of 5 plus a fur baby. Betty was an amazing host! Loved the fire pit!

Weekend Getaway
We had a weekend getaway with our group of friends and had the most amazing stay. We had a full day of fishing followed by swimming in the springs Saturday then dinner at margarita grill to enjoy our fish. Coming back to the house to have game nights was a blast for everyone. From being welcomed with a basket of snacks and all of the cozy rooms we enjoyed every second.

Great river weekend
The house is beautiful. Very large and spacious for 3 couples plus a few kids. Three full bathrooms were amazing. Well stocked kitchen. Kayaks, grill, boat dock were well used by us!! We will definitely be back!

Great Place!
We had a great time staying here in homosassa! Well stocked and plenty of room in house, patio, parking , trailer parking, grill, dock, etc Very accurate description online, and Betty was fantastic with communication! Only fyi is make sure to trim motor up before heading through the canal--the city hasn't yet cleaned up some debris/logs from recent hurricane. We were able to make it through no issues on high tide. Be careful on low tide. We will be coming back...we had a fantastic time!!

Family Reunion
This is a great property for older kids and teens. The outdoor decorations and game room really kept them interested. The adults all enjoyed the little extras and being able to spread out. Very quiet location. We will definitely be back. There were 3 families for a small reunion and it worked great! Everyone fought over the soaker tub.

Relaxing retreat
We had a large party of moms and teenagers for our annual trip, this home more than accommodated our large party. The house was well stocked with everything we could possibly need, including kayaks which we used every day. Also, there are great restaurants nearby. The property is beautiful and shaded with privacy. We will definitely return.
