"The house was well cleaned and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast service was family style with sufficient place settings. The food was phenomenal. The room had separate sleeping and sitting areas; the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was well designed with modern versions of antique features. Only shortcoming was ceiling fan that wobbled when running. We would definitely consider another stay in the future. "

The entire BnB felt warm and welcoming, absolutely spotless, and our hosts Erica and Christopher could not have been more friendly. "Pam and Dallas were incredibly welcoming and kind. Check-in with Pam was easy as can be and a couple of accommodation requests that we had (a bucket of ise for champagne, and a couple decks of cards) were promptly delivered tom our room by Dallas. Our room was neat, warm, and cozy. Exactly what we needed on a late January trip. Pam's breakfast was incredible, featuring eggs Florentine, sausage, mixed berried and yogurt, and the most amazing orange muffins. We will definitively be coming back...

"We had a fabulous weekend celebrating our 40th anniversary at the Shoe House. The house is beautifully decorated with every detail thought of by the hosts. We spent our weekend cooking together, playing games, sitting out by the fire pit and enjoying the hot tub. Sleeping accommodations are comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. The downstairs family room is where we gathered the most and having a full refrigerator, bar, and coffee station was a huge plus. We had a fabulous memorable time....
