The old bridge hotel is a great place to stay, so central to everything in holmfirth. The evening meal and breakfast were really nice. Disappointed in the upstairs snd bedrooms, very dated and looking old and sad 😔

Perfect place to stay if visiting Holmfirth - all the staff are wonderful and take care of you as soon as you walk through the door. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed both meals - again staff and service superb! The only negative was that our room was at the back of the property and the bars in the lane were rowdy until 1.30 am - so request a room at the front of the hotel to avoid this. Would definitely recommend and stay again without hesitation.

I had a very small room but did the trick. There was no early check in option but gave a chance to wonder around town. Finding the car park using Google maps navigation was painful as there is a lot of road works and it is had to spot. Check out on a map first. I had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both were enjoyed and good to have some english classics.

The room smelt bad
Negatives - The room had a bad smell that we couldn't seem to air out like it was in the carpet? Various areas of the room weren't wiped down properly (radiators/ windows) and when we were checking to see if we could link the TV to a HDMI we were shocked to find that it was covered in thick dust. We don't think this was worth what we were charged for one night Positives - The staff were lovely, happy to help out with anything. The downstairs bar and restaurant is well decorated, a nice quiet space to enjoy an evening. The breakfast was really good! Waiting staff were very friendly and accomodating. Great location, just disappointed by the room we were given.

We enjoyed our stay, hotel staff were friendly, Breakfast had great choice Village is beautiful, Only downside was our room. Room 17 is very small, bed blocked door from opening fully, had to enter sideways , This room would be perfect for a single use room not for couples

We had an excellent 2 night stay here. We cannot fault the accommodation, friendly welcoming staff and fab cooked breakfast. Excellent value for money,but to top it all totally dog friendly,we will definitely return.
