Unwind at this colonial inspired beach house with private pool. The Gables has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths with an open plan living/kitchen/dining which is perfect for a family vacation or retreat with friends. Located in Holmes Beach, the home is only a short walk (approx. 6 min) to the beautiful Gulf beach. The house has been lovingly decorated with hand-picked vintage pieces to give the home a classic old Florida feel. Enjoy our 2020 budget-friendly pricing.

There is free parking for 4 cars in the driveway. You can also rent a golf cart from Hodo Golf Carts, Beach Bums or Zoom Around to explore the island at a leisurely pace. Alternatively, rent one of AMIBeachClub’s 6 bicycles - contact us for further details. There is also a free island trolley service which runs daily around the island (approximately every 20 min). There is a trolley stop just outside both properties to easily hop-on and off.

Great Place To Vacation

Top notch vacation property.
House was very comfortable. We appreciated the touches of “Old Florida” ambiance in the design and furnishings. Pool and deck were a big hit with family and small children. Nearby beaches beautiful and an easy walk. Plenty of beach equipment and sand toys.

Wonderful vacation home!
We had a wonderful time at The Gables! The house had everything we would ever need, was decorated amazingly, and was very clean and well taken care of. The pool was fantastic and we enjoyed a great dinner under the gazebo. Hopefully we can return sometime soon because the house really made our vacation wonderful!! Thank you Valerie!

Spent 10 days in this lovely home and enjoyed every moment. The property owner, Valerie Clark, is THE BEST EVER. She was accomadating and friendly; went above and beyond our expectations. The home is large enough for families with children, yet intimate enough for a romantic couple’s getaway. Will definitely return!!

Most wonderful property!!!
We have stayed in many areas and properties in Florida over the years but this one was by far exceptional. The decor is stunning, the layout is perfect for our family and the location is ideal for beach lovers. My sons, husband and I favoured different rooms in the house, each with their unique theme. Each piece of furniture, light fixture or art is unique and creates an atmosphere of joy that we thoroughly enjoyed. The pool was warm and clean and we enjoyed the bicycles. Valerie and Richard are warm, friendly owners who welcomed us and looked after our needs. We will certainly be returning to the Gables!!

The Gables
This is a pleasant property, well furnished for our needs. Easy two block walk to the beach. It’s not as bright as the photos, but very comfortable. Except the master bed which needs mattress replacement - very noisy and squeaky. It accommodated our party of seven comfortably - two couples and three children. Pool is heated, beach and pool toys included. It’s on a fairly busy street, but the noise was only an issue when at the pool. Anna Maria is a nice place to visit, and this is a good choice to stay at.

Great location. Appears loud being so close to the busy road but you do not notice any noise while in the pool area, it is well secluded with palm trees, very tropical and pretty. Pool needed to be warmer to swim. All rooms were great, all guests were happy. Enjoyed open layout of the house. Grounds were very pretty, we enjoyed sitting on the porch and in the pool area. Renting bikes is a huge plus since parking can be difficult. Location of house was great, centrally located to everything. SeaBreeze was very responsive to our questions and requests. Great stay on a beautiful island!

Great place!
Great house, has everything you could ever need, Valerie is lovely and can't do enough for you, she can point you in the direction of the best restaurants, tell you where the best shopping is to be had etc. She is also a stealth machine who puts out and puts back the bins when twits like us forget! (They seem to be emptied virtually every day, you just need to know which colour). Anna Maria Island is gorgeous with great beaches and if that isn't enough you have longboat key and Bradenton where there are some great Seafood shacks (Starfish is a must)! Then if you want more sophistication you have Sarasota on your doorstep! This was our first visit to the island and we will certainly be back.

Better than we could have imagined!
I don’t know if I can summarize all the goodness of this property In one paragraph! This home Is amazing! It was immaculate! It was roomy and spacious enough for 2 adults and 4 teens. The fully stocked kitchen was a huge help for dining in. The bedrooms were spacious and comfy. Bathrooms were very clean (always a particular of mine!) The she’s was full Of beach items that made it so nice when we headed to the beach. Having the pool right there was another plus since we were trying to social distance from the crowds. We spent lots of time there. The new pool lights and fountain were gorgeous. The owners were very responsive and available for any issues. We will come back and The Gables is where we will stay!!

Up there with the best
Stayed at this property for a week in March - after 3 days in Orlando - and this beautiful house exceeded our expectations. The owners were excellent from the moment we rented the property, to the moment we left. Val & Pete made themselves available with advice, recommendations and ensured our vist went smoothly (specifically during the St Patrick's day parade). The house is wonderful. Classic wooden floors, spacious modern kitchen and numerous places to make eat and/or make yourself comfortable - inside and out. There's no need to say that it was clean and well maintained, but it was clean and well maintained. The pool (and the pool area) was a great place for us to relax as the surrounding hedges made it very private without losing the lovely Florida sun. We've stayed at some great places, in the USA, but this whole experience was up there with the best. We could have done with a longer stay. We've already looked at returning to this property in March 2013, but to no surprise it already booked up. However, we look to return to "The Gables" as soon as we can get back to Anna Maria Island. Many thanks to Val & Pete for use of their fantastic home, and their wonderful hospitality.

Spacious and clean inside and out
We had a wonderful week in Holmes Beach. Communication from the house caretaker was wonderful, and she offered many services that made our stay easier, like stocking up ahead of time on a few grocery items, and securing bike rentals. The house is well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. The private pool is just outside the front door, making quick dips or leisurely afternoons poolside a breeze. The house is located about a mile from the end of the island, with beach-side restaurants and cute ice cream stores. In one way, the location of the property is great because of access to the free trolley, but the location was also the one negative issue we had - which was traffic noise. The house (and the pool) are hidden from the main road by heavy bushes, but the traffic noise was surprisingly loud. We were there in the middle of peak tourist season, so that would certainly explain a lot of it. It wouldn’t stop us from staying there again, but it just wasn’t quite what I envisioned, never having been to AMI before. The amenities and service from the property manager positively overshadowed that one issue.

Excellent combination of property and hostess
From the moment I made an initial enquiry Val the owner was responsive and efficient. It gave me complete confidence booking the property. All queries were answered within the hour. Val kept in touch before arrival and everything was ready for us. It was easy to access the house and the property was beautifully decorated throughout. It was a real home from home ( except it was cleaner, tidier and more luxurious than my home) .The kitchen was fully equipped and all the furniture and fittings in the rooms were of a superior standard. There were piles of beach towels to use and a marvellous selection of beach equipment with a buggy and cool box to carry it all in. The barbecue and pool were excellent and much used. Val kept in touch while we were there and was on hand to recommend and help us source restaurants and entertainment. There was a good choice of friendly relaxed eating places and good deli shops with home made baking. Apart from the usual beach activities there were additional things to do nearby. We all tried kayaking through a local Reserve and my sons loved the flyboarding experience. It really couldn't have been any better and we all had a marvellous stay. I would highly recommend Val and the property.

Perfect family vacation
We were a 3 generation family that included ages 12-60. We had to cancel a cruise vacation 3 times during Covid. We finally gave up and decided to give Florida a try. Prior to our trip, Valerie was great for answering questions and keeping me informed of when the property would be ready. The property was even better than the listing stated. Great downstairs layout where you could get away from the crowd if you wanted. 4 upstairs bedrooms were perfectly laid out with 3 of them have access to the porch/balcony. Distanced enough that you could easily take an afternoon nap without being disturbed. The kitchen was perfect for our needs. A BIG plus for me was that there was quality cookwear and knives in the kitchen. Not a big deal for some but would not having them would have been a miserable week in the kitchen for me, Pool layout was great, with 8 lounge chairs. The area was sun for part of the day and shade for part. Afternoons when we had too much sun on the beach, the kids could still be at the pool without getting sunburned. Beach chairs were great to take to the beach which was less than a 10 minute walk. We will definitely be back to the island and are hoping this property is available when to need it.

Seabreeze did a wonderful job in making our stay a great experience. The guidebook they gave us ahead of time was thorough and organized. The Gables was clean and exactly what was advertised in the pictures. Check out was easy as well. We would recommend Seabreeze to anyone!
