Pet friendly country cottage with large fenced-in yard & horses on property

Just a short drive from Charleston or Columbia is a relaxing little cottage just waiting for you. Looking for a mini vacation but don’t want to drive for hours? Get out of the traffic of I-95 and enjoy the slow pace as well, or if you are coming in for a family reunion, wedding or any other reason, we’ve got just what you need. Our Little Red Cottage has two bedrooms, one bath and is fully stocked with all your needs. Plush bedding, full size kitchen and lots of little extras to make you want to stay even longer. Watch the deer cross the horse pasture daily from the kitchen window or sit on the front porch with your morning coffee and enjoy it all. The front yard is fully fenced and the cottage is pet friendly, so you are welcome to bring your fur babies with you. It's a great place for the dogs to stretch their legs and play safely while traveling. We have over 160 acres of planted pines and trails, so just let us know if you want to get out and walk the trails (weather permitting). Book your stay soon!

A nice stay away from I95

We enjoyed our stay in the cottage on a spacious property with large field in view. Our dog was very happy there and seemed delighted when we arrived. Beds were comfortable and the baked goods were amazing!

We had a wonderful stay at Kay's cute little cottage! SUPER clean, nicely decorated, well stocked. Beds were amazing. The fenced in yard was quite a bonus as were the horses in the adjacent pasture. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay as we were in town for a wedding. Had everything we could have needed, and a few convenience stores & food options around. Kay & her husband were very nice, and allowed us to pet the horses, too!

Perfect stop on way to Florida
We are traveling to FL with our 2 dogs. Kay and Fred were great hosts. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs. We had a glass of wine on the porch and watched the sunset. House was so clean and comfortable. Will visit again.

The cottage was absolutely picturesque, inside and out. The yard was immaculate and secure. My stay was lovely, and I appreciated the personalized welcome note from the owner as well as the coffee service.

Clean and adorable!
This was my first experience staying anywhere other than a hotel if I’m not with friends and it was so much better than any hotel! Very clean and absolutely adorable! There was also things there incase you forget something in your travels for both you and your doggies which I thought was so sweet. There is a full kitchen, dishes and a washer and dryer which. I felt like I was in a home. You can’t get any better than that! I only gave the location a 4 star because there isn’t much around in the way of activities or restaurants in Holly Hill if that’s what you’re coming for but it felt safe and it’s close to my friend so if you are in town to see family or friends it’s perfect. Will definitely rebook for future stays 😊

Hidden Gem
The property was a surprise gem. It was super clean and comfortable. The owners amazed us with all of the little special touches that many vacation rentals don’t do. From the snacks, waters, seasonings, coffee options, and even mini makeup wipes it was amazing. We also had options of games and if you bring your pets they will feel loved too with the water/food bowls and dog bed. It was a very peaceful property and you get the added bonus of watching the owners horses graze in the property behind. Would definitely recommend this property.

What a lovely little home, and incredibly easy to access and very pet friendly and peaceful. The host was wonderful, and answered any questions immediately. I will return again, but for a longer stay next time! My Coco didn’t want to leave!

While this location isn’t for everyone, I was so happy with it! We stayed here for a bee keeping class in Holly Hill. Property owner was so nice, the home was very clean, and we were able to bring our 2 dogs! The fenced in front yard was my favorite! I was also really happy with how well stocked it was- tin foil, good pots/pans, comfortable bed, waters & drinks, fans in every room, plenty of dishes, and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. I also felt safe here. Perfect little getaway in the country!

Unexpectedly amazing!
This cute little house was perfect for the 2 of us. We were just passing through and decided to venture out and skip the hotels along the interstate. I am so glad we did! The owner has this place stocked with all the necessities, its really clean and beautifully appointed. They did a very nice job. Watching the horses graze in the pasture out the window was nice touch as well :) Thank you so much for the great stay. I will book again on my next trip and pass the listing along to my friends.
