"This was the second time we stayed at Kay's cottage. We stayed on our way to Florida and then again on our way home. It was the perfect place and much better than any motel. It was as pictured and very clean. The beds were comfy and the whole place felt like home. Super easy check in and out. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Kay for your hospitality!! "

"We had a great stay at the Tea Cup Cottage. It shares the property with the owner’s house, but the cottage is completely detached and very private. The cottage is newly built, very well appointed and clean, and very comfortable. Easy walk to downtown and everything historic Summerville has to offer, but also a full kitchen with the necessities to cook in should you choose to. We highly recommend the Tea Cup Cottage!"

"The cottage was conveniently located and as advertised. Only 1 lamp was suitable for reading. I had reserved the cottage for 4 weeks. Unfortunately, I contracted covid and a winter storm warning was issued. At that point I opted to leave after 16 days and drive home. It did in fact snow and people were forced to stay in their homes for 2-3 days. I realize host/owners are not responsible for weather nor are they required to reimburse guests for unused days. I did ask if I could be comped 2-3...

"Needed some place to stay while floors were being refinished. Quaint, laid back and only about 50 feet from Edisto River. It was very hot and not much to do if you do not do things on the water. The TV worked via Air Play from iPad. Watched some Braves baseball that way and Madam Sec Series. Beds are up against the wall. This made it difficult to get out of bed during the night. Shower leaves a lot to be desired. Killed two Copper Head snakes in yard since this is so near the Edisto River....
