Located in a private gated community1 mile north of Holetown, on the popular West Coast and close to glorious beaches (200m) and within a short walking distance from a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The Royal Fairmont beach is just opposite the villa accessed through a private walkway. The popular Lone Star restaurant is only five minutes walk away Number 6 is a luxury 2 bedroom villa with en-suite bathrooms, each room has a super king bed that can be turned into twin beds. All towels and linen are provided. There is an open plan fully equipped kitchen with dining table, tumble dryer and washing machine. Dishwasher The living area has a new sofa .together with a Smart TV, cable and wi-fi. There is a BBQ outside on the deck area, with outdoor seating, sun loungers and an umbrella for personal use. The villa is air conditioned throughout and there is private car parking next to the villa. Local buses and taxis are easily accessed, Holetown and Bridgetown are only a short drive away. We have stayed in Barbados many times but never in the Porters area until now. We thoroughly enjoyed it, beautiful beaches, restaurants and a great spot to get to anywhere on the West coast. The villa was just what we hoped for and had everything we needed for a really relaxing holiday.
This is a well appointed, clean and convenient place to stay in St. James, Barbados. The property manager was available to answer any questions. The beach and restaurants were just a short walk away. It is handy to have a car to get to the stores and to explore the country. It is a quiet location, which is preferable to a more busy resort atmosphere.
This appartement is sublime! It is a 5 minute walk to the beach wich might be easier to acces via the roads (rather than the passage) with young children because the main road doesn't always have acces to a sidewalk. It is safer to go down Patanne Gardens and Store House road that leads directly to the beach access. Also, the pool is directly in front of the house wich is great. Thank you for the wonderfull stay!
The villa is small but definitely spacious enough for a family or two couples. The communication with owner and manager was great. We had a hiccup with the wifi the first week we were there but they worked tirelessly to sort this problem. The cleaners came once or twice a week and did a fabulous job. This villa is facing the pool which is a bonus. The beach is a five minute walk away and Rico on the beach will sort you out with loungers and an umbrella. The buses pass by the main road and it was easy to get to Holetown or speightstown for loads of restaurants or shopping.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the villa and would definitely recommend it to anyone!
This villa has been tastefully renovated and is ideally located next to the pool, and just a short walk to the beach. # 6 is one of 8 villas securely located in a gated community called Porters Court. There are some higher-end restaurants nearby with within walking distance (Lonestar and the Fairmont hotel), as well as less expensive ones such as Ju-Ju's and Jumas -- all facing the beach. It's a short bus ride into Holetown, and just a little bit longer bus ride up to Speightstown - both of which have many great restaurant choices and beaches. We had another couple with us for a week, and there was plenty of room for us. All villas have a private parking pad. We will definitely return here.
Porters court ticked away at the end of a road in a perfect location just a 5 min walk from the beach. The property itself was as described and just what we needed for our family. Beautifully decorated and furnished, spotlessly clean with everything you need for your stay. We spent many an evening sat on the lovely outside deck area. The small communal pool was such a great addition. We loved it … thank you to Karen x
