Blue Moon is located in the exclusive gated development of Pavilion Grove. This small secure community houses just 6 villas. Situated on the Platinum West Coast of the beautiful island of Barbados, this villa is ideally located close to beaches and shops.

This colonial style villa has four large bedrooms, suitable for sleeping up to 8 people. There are three bedrooms located on the first floor each bedroom has its own individual and spacious ensuite bathrooms. There is a large double room located on the ground floor, which can be made up as two single beds depending on your requirements. This bedroom also has a spacious bathroom.

Hairdryers have been provided in the bathrooms.

The modern kitchen is fully fitted with marble countertops and SMEG kitchen, and is well equipped for all your holiday catering needs. There is a large fridge/freezer, oven, cook top, microwave, blender, coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher and an array of tableware and utensils. There's a separate laundry room complete with washing machine and tumble dryer.

The sitting room has comfortable seating for 8 people, and has a smart TV, and a DVD player. The villa also has Wi-Fi and telephone with free local calls. The dining area has a table and chairs. The villa is fully air-conditioned.

The entrance to Blue Moon has a covered veranda with a small dining table and a relaxing area with patio chairs and hammock; perfect to relax with your morning coffee or a sundowner in the evening.

The outside area of the property features a plunge pool (13ft x 10ft), which is just great for a quick dip to cool down from the hot Caribbean sun. There are sun loungers and parasols provided on the outdoor decking. Fry up some local fish on the gas BBQ located on the outdoor decking and enjoy the evening from the comfort of your villa.

There is off road car parking available at the property. A car rental is an easy and convenient way to explore the island. We are happy to provide quotations for a car rental for the duration of your stay.

Blue Moon is located just a short 5 minute walk from the closest beach - Alleynes Beach. Alleynes beach is the home of the famous Fairmont Royal Pavilion and Lonestar Restaurant. Guests of Blue Moon receive complimentary Beach Club Membership cards for the Fairmont Royal Pavilion Hotel to use for the duration of the stay. The Caribbean Sea is generally calm and welcoming, and ideal for swimming. There is a beach bar perfect to grab a cooling drink or watch the sun slip away with a cocktail and all watersports are available to try.

The closest shops and banks are located in Holetown, about 5 minutes by car or bus. Buses run frequently along the main coast road. In Holetown you will find a supermarket, banks, and a post office as well as a 24/7 medical facility. There are lots of restaurants and bars catering to all tastes and budgets; from fine dining to road side eateries. Holetown has its own beach, with two beach bars. Holetown is home to the only luxury shopping mall on the island – Limegrove, where you will find a selection of designer shops, restaurants, bars, trendy cafes and duty free shopping - even a cinema, all under one roof.

Amazing place, will definitely be back!
We had a fantastic time at the property and the friendliness and kindness of rental company and house staff really went a long way to making our stay memorable. The house was well kept and very clean, with a 1 min walk across the street to access the beach at the fairmont. Well located and close to everything. We were well looked after! Perfect stay
We stayed with our family in this perfect home. The Vrbo pics do not do it justice as it’s better in reality. Absolutely nothing has been forgotten here, we’ve never stayed in such a well equipped home… and it is a home, not your normal holiday accommodation. The housekeeper , Shonette is simply outstanding, along with the management company. Their communication is excellent and they are so helpful. Position of the property is ideal for the whole west coast and a beautiful beach is two minutes walk. We can’t wait to return.

Great Villa for a memorable family vacation!
We just returned after a fantastic week that included Christmas Eve & Day. The property was great for our family as all four bedrooms had access to their own bathroom. The property allowed family time on the front porch for morning coffee, evening meal, a beverage after the beach or a board game. The pool is perfect for a dip after getting back from the beach or for the kids to play while getting ready for supper with the BBQ being close by. The accommodations were clean and had ample towels and kitchen amenities. We had a house cleaner included that came twice during our stay. The location was a close walk to the beach and included was access to the Fairmont Pavilion. One tip is not to use the beach bar but walk down the beach a few minutes to Ju Jus on the beach and the drinks and food are less than 1/2 price! A nice surprise was a Christmas tree set up on arrival. This was an amazing vacation for our family which included 2 grandparents, 3 adults and two children (3 & 10). The villa definitely added to the enjoyment as we felt very well cared for. I would not hesitate to return or recommend this property.

The best!
Blue Moon is an exceptional rental. The house was clean upon arrival and was maintained that way throughout our stay. The kitchen has everything. The airport pickup and drop off adds to the value as do the beach passes. Karen and everyone does a great job.

Outstanding
Blue Moon villa is an outstanding, really well equipped rental villa. It is just as described on the web site. You are safely tucked away inside the gated cul-de-sac of Pavilion Grove with 5 other similar properties. Just a five minute stroll to a lovely beach and the beach membership at the Fairmont Hotel. It had everything we needed. The cleanliness was impressive. 5* hotel standard accommodation with a fabulous BBQ!

Absolutely Fabulous Xmas 2019
Myself and 5 others had a most wonderful Xmas when we stayed at Blue Moon . It is a fabulous villa situated in a quiet gated cul-de-sac. The villa was very spacious and furnished to a high specification. We had everything we needed and spent many an enjoyable night on the terrace eating and chatting and listening to the frogs. Blue Moon comes with beach cards which give access to the gorgeous Fairmont beach across the road where we were fortunate to be able to use the beds etc at no charge but also we were given a 10% discount on food and drink. Our whole party were in agreement that we would not hesitate to return if the opportunity arose. A very big thank you to the owner and to Karen the property manager for making our stay such a memorable one

Absolutely Fabulous
We had the most fantastic time !! The location could not be better as we had the best of all worlds with the private pool , membership to the Beach Bar across the road and a lovely stroll into Holetown. It was also great fun getting the bus to different places and the bus stop being right at the foot of the drive was an extra bonus. The villa is tremendous and I would recommend if to anybody

Meets all your needs - perfect
We went as a couple to this apartment. The greeting and transfer were faultless as were the departure arrangements. The apartment offers spacious accommodation for 4 couples. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of fridge space and large sitting room + dining table. Good Wi Fi connection with on line TV. The air conditioning is very effective supplemented by fans for those who like a breeze. 20 minute walk to Holetown or local bus service ( a mild white knuckle ride). Tennis courts for hire in centre of Bridgetown. Good choice of dining in Holetown for example Tides, Beachhouse and Nishis or within walking distance of the apartment the Lone Star or SeaCat (bit more local). Access to the Royal Pavilion beach area across the road is ideal, much less their rum punch which we considered the best after considerable sampling research. A car is essential if you want to tour the whole island but most major towns can be reached by bus which is no slower than by car. Local drivers were courteous. Take an unlocked phone(s) and use the local mobile service "Flow" which was reliable and cheap. Of the gardens, Hunte's was the best and of the houses we visited St Nicholas's Abbey.

Stunning villa
This was our second visit to this beautiful villa in Barbados. Blue Moon is one of six private residences situated on a private road which is gated and secluded. It is moments away from some of the best beaches on the island and is such a relaxing property. The villa is furnished with taste and has every convenience that one would hope for from oven, gas barbecue, superbly comfortable beds and much more. It has a home cinema with access to films and the furnishings are luxurious but comfortable too.The housekeeper also comes every other day during the week to keep the place clean and sparkling. The villa is situated in beautiful surroundings just north of Holetown on the West Coast. You have easy access to what ever takes your fancy. Whether it's simply relaxing on the veranda or going further afield to explore. Thanks once again for a lovely holiday, I am sure we will be back!

Beautiful villa - great location!
We absolutely loved this house and really didn't want to leave! Beautifully furnished, with lovely comfortable sofas and beds, my husband, my 2 children and myself had a wonderful 2 week stay at Blue Moon. The beach (Alleyne''s Bay) is literally a 5 minute walk away, and although we explored other beaches, 'our' beach was our favourite: not too busy, great for safe swimming and snorkelling (we saw turtles!) and 2 fantastic beach bar / restaurants: www.ramshacklebarbados.com (casual) and www.thelonestar.com (smarter). The house itself has 2 lovely outdoor lounging areas - one with superb plunge pool, loungers and BBQ (there is a beachside fresh fish stall a short drive up the road - perfect for the BBQ), the other out front with comfy chairs and dining table where we breakfasted with humminbirds! The owners had thought of everything - both comfort and facility wise, and the agency and maid service looked after our every need. I would definitely recommend this property, in its quiet gated cul de sac, so close to the sea. Catherine R.

Superb villa with all amenities
We have recently returned from paradise – Barbados is a wonderful place to go to on holiday. To also stay at the private villa named Blue Moon , makes it an unforgettable experience! It is the most perfect place to stay and relax. We travel the world and stayed in Blue Moon 2 years ago. We so love this villa that this year we have arranged our holiday around its availability. It is superbly furnished and has every amenity, including a friendly housekeeper who comes in everyday, except Sunday, to allow you to just get on enjoying your holiday. The villa is located in a superb location, in a small, quiet, pretty 6-villa gated community, just about 1.5 km north of Holetown, on the West Coast with all its good restaurants, beaches and facilities. It has 4 distinctively different bedrooms, 3 are en suite, with large comfortable beds. The decor throughout is modern and very luxurious. It has its own pool, with deck chairs, sun beds and a barbeque for your use. It has also a covered veranda furnished with an armchair and rattan and glass dining furniture where you can enjoy light dining while being out of the sun. The local agents are on call 24 hours a day so will be on hand to help if there is a problem. They can also arrange car hire, tickets to local attractions, venues, concerts, tours etc. We did not use them for any of these but they did keep in touch with us regularly. The West Coast is one of the most sought after destinations in Barbados, particularly since it is also near prestigious golf courses at Sandy Lane and The Royal Westmoreland, and also the polo and other events at Holders and Apes Hill. But even closer still is the wonderful beach just across the road where you can just relax, literally swim with the turtles very close to the shore, and then enjoy a well earned drink and snack at one of the beach bars. And then of course are all the other attractions on the island all of which are easily accessible. Everything is just tailored to make it the perfect holiday, but the real anchor to making it so special is this wonderful villa. It is such a relaxing house to stay in; and it really is home from home while you are there. We would recommend it as a base for anybody, be it a group of friends, a family or just a couple wanting to relax in immaculate surroundings. Thank you very much – that’s just what we did and had a wonderful time. It really was a most comfortable base to enjoy a really memorable holiday!

Gorgeous Barbados Retreat
This house is a real gem, located in a quiet and pretty gated private road. Great location, perfect for exploring the beaches and restaurants along the west coast. The nearest beach has a pedestrian access within a few minutes' walk. Really comfortable and extremely spacious house. It has a beautiful, large verandah in front, and inside the house is delightful. Very luxuriously furnished... everything is super-comfortable and very high quality. Lovely accessories, lighting and artwork . All the bedrooms are different, each one with its own style and look, and the bathrooms are amazing! The master suite is wonderfully large. All the beds are fantastic quality and very comfortable. It is all very personal, and has the feel of a beautiful family home, as everything has obviously been chosen with care by the owners. Friendly, lovely housekeeper who looks after the house and keeps it looking wonderful every day - so that you can enjoy some of the benefits of a hotel in a private home environment - which makes it more of a holiday for everyone. There is a very nice private pool and deck area with barbecue to one side of the house, surrounded by pretty Barbados flowers and leafy plants. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to any family or large group - if it's available, snap it up!
