The pros: The place was clean, and we enjoyed using the kayaks and firepit. The lake is lovely, and it was nice to be on waterfront. Paul (the owner's nephew and only contact we had) helped with problems when he could. (But he was away during about half of our stay. We had no contact with the owner.)
The cons: Dishwasher and wifi did not work during our entire week-long stay. (Dryer also did not work, but Paul replaced it with one that did.) Nothing covering the windows, so very bright, very early in the morning. Neighbor honked her car horn 4 times every morning around 6am. There was a mouse in the kitchen. Paul brought a trap over, but the critter evaded it, and we saw evidence of it all week. The beds are okay (not great). The furniture and TV are from the 70s. It would've been nice to have been offered some money back, considering we did book this place because it was supposed to have some amenities that were unusable (wifi and dishwasher).
