"Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz offers the best value to anyone visiting Berlin as a tourist. It's located in an extremely convenient spot with a subway station entrance within a 2-3 minute walk. We had absolutely zero issues and inconvenience getting to the hotel from Berlin Brandenburg Airport when we came to Germany and on our way back. Do not waste money on Uber / Taxicab - public transport in Germany is super clean, safe and convenient. Most major landmarks are within walking distance - we really enjoyed walking to the Museum Island, Brandenburg Gates and Bundestag. There is a nice little mall located 300 meters away (4 minute walk) which has plenty of dining options to explore. You can also buy some snacks and water there if you wish. It became our favorite during a week-long stay. Hotel rooms are super clean and well maintained. Hotel staff is super polite and helpful. The breakfast was worth every penny and is the best hotel breakfast I've seen. This place is a jewel. Will recommend it to all my friends and will stay there myself."

"We have stayed here before and have enjoyed our visit also. The hotel is a five minute walk From the Hauptbahnhof and 20 mins from the Bundestag and brandenburg gate. We were early so left our cases in the secure storage until the evening. We were advised the quieter times to check in but there is an additional auto check in. The staff are friendly and helpful as always. Our room was standard as we are only sleeping and showering there so didn’t need a fancy room. It was spotless and has a good hot shower, it was warm too as it was a bit chilly this last week in Berlin. We had the breakfast option, there is lots of choice and it’s frequently replenished catering for every taste. The only gripe was the bed and overly soft pillows but no bed is going to be as good as your own and extra pillows are available from reception. Another good stay and I am sure we will be enjoying another soon. "
