Friendly, low-key family-run lodge close to Kruger National Park
The family and staff who run this hotel are friendly, hard-working multi-taskers. They gave good advice and didn't try to sell us anything extra. About the only complaint we had was the fact that no one told us the gate was not electronic. The unit was spacious and clean. Our meals were cafeteria-style with a good selection. It would have been nice to have a heater in the bedroom. The wildlife (springbok, warthogs, etc.) roaming around the grounds was a nice intro to the game reserve.
Wunderschöner Tag in toller Lodge mit unglaublich netten Personal. Netter Pool, tolles Essen, viel Platz bzgl.

Matumi game lodge
A very pleasant stay at this lodge. Good advices from the owner and her daughter on what to visit. Very helpful to all our questions.
Our chalet was well equipped with everything we needed.
Kind personnel in the restaurant and a good breakfast with options from the kitchen as well as a buffet.
Possibility to make a game drive direct opposite the main gate; A lot of animals seen under a professional guidance.
