Go Back in Time
If you are looking for a unique place to stay while visiting the Brandywine Valley, this is it. Beautiful field stone cottage that is over 200 years old, but with all modern amenities. Decorated with rustic antiques. Lovely view of creek and woods in back, saw deer, fox, and geese. Within 20 minutes of all attractions. Loved it, hope to return.

Farmhouse Driveway
The drive way was the worst thing about this property. It was very scary to get in and out of. Also, the front step really needs some work. It wobbled and because of the weather, it was covered in wet leaves. I was so afraid I was going to fall. The house is charming and other than going down the basement stairs to do a load of laundry, things were fine.

The house was outstanding! It had lots of charm. Beautiful antiques. We loved the backyard and sitting in the hot tub watching the deer graze on the other side of the stream! The beds were comfortable. The house felt inviting and private. The kitchen was set up for everything you would need to cook, but we were enjoying the local restaurants. The area is perfect for lots to do and great places to eat. We really enjoyed all the different parks and hiking trails. We will be back next year!!

Perfect place to stay for parents' weekend
We truly enjoyed staying at this quaint stone cottage for the past UD parents' weekend. While other parents were complaining about their hotels and the crowded town we were tucked away in this perfect, clean and comfortable home. The house had everything we needed and we will definitely rent again.

Unforgettably Wonderful Christmas
Staying in this historic home was a highlight of our Christmas. The owners went out of their way to accommodate our travel plans and the house was tastefully decked out for the holiday. The location is easy to get to but also secluded, quiet, and charming. We woke up Christmas morning to see several white tail deer across the creek. While it was ideal for our winter holiday, I would recommend it any time of the year.
