"This property presented exactly as in the pictures and description. It was within easy walking distance of many city attractions, with perhaps the best find being the Chowk Hotel which was literally just around the corner and had such friendly service and great Nepalese food. Whilst the property could sleep 7 (at a pinch) it was not comfortable for 3 of us to sit, relax and chat and with only one bathroom and no separate toilet it might become rather awkward with more guests. "

The enclosed garden is lovely and offers a pleasant spot to eny a cup of tea or cold drink. Finding a pet friendly place to stay near Hobart is an absolute bonus!"

"Really enjoyed staying at the Heritage Garden Cottage. The location is brilliant for access to Salamanca Place and all of the excellent eateries close by. It's a heritage area surrounded by gorgeous early Australian architecture and steeped in history. The cottage itself is well appointed and very clean and comfortable plus the garden is divine and has water views. "

"Set in a quiet area overlooking the oldest bridge in Australia, the mill house cottage is a delightful place to stay. The cottage is well maintained and comfortably furnished. We also appreciated being surrounded by a garden setting. The hosts living in a house on the property were kind enough to leave us with breakfast provisions with a loaf of home baked bread each day."
