Good value for money
A pleasent place to spend a few days while in Ho Chi Minh. It is located down a very hard to find alley, and it would be near enough impossible to find if you were not either taken to it or shown where it is by someone in the know. The room, despite having no windows was consistently cool, clean and very quiet considering the very loud goings on of Ho Chi Minh. Most things of note are within walking distance, but a taxi to most places will be very cheap. The staff do not speak much English but are very pleasent and will always do their best to help. The old saying of 'you get what you pay for' rings true. Do not expect luxury but for the price, this is a clean, well located, friendly hotel and I do not think you could find many hotels of a similar standard for the same price in Vietnam...

Great location and east access to river! And all of the districts! Service was great and we felt welcomed every time we entered the building! Only downside was the room had no windows however the surrounding buildings would have blocked any views so it was not an issue! Loved our stay at Aries and ho chi Minh City!

Lovely hotel
When you are in this hotel, it's hard to believe you are in the middle of HCMC . It's tucked away down an alley. Very clean, very quiet. Nice staff, who helped with our train tickets, and other queries we had. Breakfast was very nice. The bed was comfy. The location is excellent. Highly recommend.

Good hotel. Staff speak little to no English
We stayed here for 3 nights. When we arrived via taxi we were dropped off infront of a resturant ( nydq) and were pointed down a dark ally. In which we then did see a small sign showing the direction to the hotel. The actual hotel was very nice and clean. The only issue was the staff speak little to no English. Which made it very hard to ask. Questions about the area. There was only one girl that we communicate with, and she was not there often. The hotel is in a great location we were able to walk to the war museum, reunification building, the opera house, the water front, the back packers area is about 2 blocks away. So all in all great location and hotel. Poor staff.

location is nice jus the first time u need some time to look for it. In roundabout, you can see nydc( New York dessert cafe),you can also find the sign of Aries hotel next to nydc, hotel is just behind it. Hotel staffs are very nice,there are 2 types for breakfast, Vietnam pho or continental breakfast, simple but fair enough.If you're budget traveler, Aries hotel is a good choice.

Nice hotel, pleasant staff
Very friendly and helpful staff upon arrival, room condition, cleanliness and amenities are better than what we expected. The hotel helped us to book tours to Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong River Tour. Hotel is within walking distance to major tourist attractions (forget about getting a cab, the horrid traffic will set you back by 15 minutes, plus its a good excuse to get some exercise). Both of us girls felt safe even when we came back at night.

Loved the location. Central but in a quiet side alley where cars can't pass. The superior room was perfect for my needs. Good internet speed for this town, a desk, and even a drawer you could lock. Friendly staff who really cared to help. Very pleased and would choose it again for sure,

Great hotel for the price.
Read other reviews before we tried and yes it is down an alley with no taxi access but not very much of a walk. Felt safe at all times. We opted for a deluxe room and it was by far the best room of our stay in Vietnam. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We would highly recommend this hotel- a quiet spot in a very busy city!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel had reasonably strong wifi. Staff were largely helpful. The only bad thing was that the breakfast options were rather limited. The location was between Ben Than Market and the backpacker area so well located.

Well located to centre of Ho Chi Minh
Best value rooms have no windows but for a little extra you can have room with a window. All the staff were a great help with no matter what you needed. The beds were very comfortable.

Do not stay here!
I booked this online and was misled by the pictures. I was put in a room in the basement and was interrupted by every little noise in the lobby directly above my room. We checked out late the next day and was told it'll be 30% of the regular room fee, which was double the amount we paid for the night. The receptionist first claim she's the manager then changed her mind and said she's only the receptionist and can't do anything. Also, the hotel is hidden in the alley where you have to make a couple turns to get to. Taxis cannot get in there.

A 4-5 star facilities with 2 star charges
The room is clean, light is bright, towels are changed everyday. A quite oasis in a noicy city. The staff, Ms Nyan is very helpful. A four-star hotel with 2 star charges. Well recommended. I made a special request to check in early by 9.30 am during my booking, but was ask by the receptionist to pay extra 270,000 Don. I protested and eventually they give me concession. VERY IMPORTANT WARNING TO TORISTS: Never take a trishaw in HCM City, they attract you with a very low price, but eventually they asked for 10 times of the price. Better take a meter taxi to visit places to places

The hotel is clean and convenient by foot or motorbike, but cars cannot navigate the alley to access the hotel. Staff are nice, but rooms are small.

A good budget hotel
The hotel was a longer distance from the airport than most but it's location put you in easy walking distance to most attractions in the city. It is a basic hotel, but very clean and the staff helpful. The room was not large but it was quiet and comfy. The only downfall was the breakfast was sparse and not a lot to it, literally 3 pots of food and eggs. This is not too much of a problem except there are not many places around the hotel to eat (for western stomachs) if you don't like their breakfast. However I liked the hotel, it was cheap but friendly and clean and off the main roads so it was quiet.
