We absolutely loved our stay at An Lam. Their attention to detail is second to none and the staff are so helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant is delicious, particularly the buffet breakfast which has cook to order options as well as the buffet. Their drinks lounge has a wonderful view over the river and many options. A special shout out to Tan for his amazing service!

A quiet relaxing stay
It was an amazing stay away from the busy city. Staff very courteous and polite. Food was good depending on what you order. It had a very quiet relaxing atmosphere. Spa experience was good, but there's room for improvement with massage quality, I've had better ones elsewhere.

I recently stayed at this resort and was looking forward to a relaxing experience, especially since we had booked a room with a private swimming pool. However, our stay was disrupted when we encountered a snake near the pool, which forced us to stay inside for safety. While I understand that nature can be unpredictable, I expected better maintenance and preventive measures at a resort of this caliber. What made the experience even more disappointing was the lack of response from the management. When I reached out regarding the issue, they initially acknowledged my concern and even asked how much compensation I was expecting. However, after that, they completely ignored my follow-ups and never provided a resolution. A resort’s service is not just about the amenities but also how they handle guest concerns, and unfortunately, An Lam fell short in this regard. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a hassle-free and well-managed stay.

although it's 30 mins from the city center, it was a great resort and time for relaxation! They do have boat rides (on a schedule) to get to the city center which is really convenient!

Our stay in An Lam Retreats Saigon River was simply amazing. A place only comparable with unique resort places in Bali, Costa Ricas jungle. We have never been in a place like this amazing place. Trranquil position outside HOCM City, but the boat will bring you into the center of district 1 several times of the day. The retaurant, the pool area, the facility, the smell, senses, the interiordesign was amazing. We wanted to buy a lot of the interior home with us. Our Suite looking over Saigon River was so beautiful maybe some of the best we ever tried...

Beautiful place to stay but transportation is very limited and the road to the retreat is unpaved and hard to drive through. The breakfast buffet is good but the restaurant food is really bad and very overpriced, which discouraged us from staying around the hotel. But boat to city and back is very limited so we had to use separate taxi,and many taxi drivers were unwilling to go to this area because it's far from the city centre and the road to the hotel is chaotic.

The food is over priced for what it is. Had fish and chips where the batter was soggy along with the chips. Then had the melting chocolate pudding which was over cooked as was the garlic bread. You know even the staff know it’s bad when they fail to ask you how the food is. The cocktail was nice at least.

Top notch hotel!
Stuff at An Lam is exceptionally service minded. For guests everything is possible, there’s always a smile and a good will to make your holidays experience top notch! Speed boats to the city are a gem but even if you’re arriving by the car it feels unreal when the gates opens and you feel like “welcome to Jurassic Park” with all the green surroundings. Main pool is lovely located under the trees as well. Good menu at the restaurant, no problems at all to make some adjustments for your kid. Rooms are cozy but could be isolated better. Mr Nhat at reception desk is easy best butler ever and beyond. I would say that of all five-stars hotels in Vietnam An Lam has this special vibe of experiencing something more. There’s a concept I simply like. /Bart
