"The public area is more wonderful and very well designed, the rooms were plain, not great. But the biggest problem is the service, the front desk lady was the worst. She said we had to pick a boat trip that day for the next day, and tried charge us over twice the price! She said she'd send the link, when she didn't we just walked over to the port after she gave us the wrong directions. We selected a boat and when we got on she kept texting me in capitals on WhatsApp what boat we were on. When I asked why she said she was worried about us. No doubt it was for commission. I never told her. Then the next day when we left the hotel she sent us a picture of a shattered TV and sai we broke it. When I pointed out that the layout of the room was not the same of as as ours and that wasn't even our room, instead of apologizing she just didn't reply. Judging by this I really wonder about her stability if they fire her, I would reconsider this hotel despite the plain rooms. Terrible experience."

"Really charming hotel. Very nice staff although not much English spoken, but manageable. We booked the suite to have more room Which was useful as it rained a lot. Very nice breakfast and Paraty itself is lovely "

"A very nice hotel in Angra. Valet parking was a real plus. Breakfast options were plentiful, and the topmost floor had a lot of space to hang out or work. The area offered a wide variety of dining options within walking distance. Despite the name Angra Beach Hotel, it is not located by the beach, but it offers a free daily pass to a very nice beach in the Ilha da Jipoia. I will stay at this hotel again if I am ever back in Angra."

"Ótima hospedagem! Em 3 minutos eu estava na rua principal de Paraty e em 10 min andando tranquilamente eu estava na ponta do cais quase dentro do barco. Café da manhã ótimo e é uma das primeiras pousadas custo benefício que vou que há uma variedade boa de café da manhã. O que me impressionou muito foi a calmaria do local, eu estava super próxima da rua principal mas sem o alvoroço de uma rua principal. Voltando em Paraty voltaria mais vezes. Elogio extra à recepcionista da manhã e a arrumadeira da manhã, duas queridas e super gentis comigo e meu namorado :)"

"The hotel reminded me of a small resort which was nice. They have security at the entrance which makes you feel safe. The pool area was my favourite part, very beautiful view. There’s a shopping mall in walking distance which was very convenient. "
