"Yes, the house has some quirks. It's a bit wobbly but we all found it charming. John is SUPER communicative and welcoming. He was available during our stay for any questions or concerns. PROS:Super comfortable bedsAC works brilliantly plus there are ceiling fans and windows units if you need moreLocation is unbeatable. You can walk to all the restaurants and shops. TVs with many streaming services; you don't have to login with your own account. And Direct TV for love. The Rec room was a great addition for my teenager and the when we had to take work zoom callsCONSJohn did a good job detailing that the house has been well-loved I found it challenging to get up and down the stairs to the Captains loft, so we slept in the Queen bed on the main floor and let the younger adults take the loft.Great location, comfy beds and AC are my priorities and this filled the bill!"

"This location was excellent, the beach was right across the street and a short walk over the dune boardwalk. The cottage was clean and bright. The kitchen was well supplied. The downtown area was just a 20 minute walk. The area was very quiet, not much traffic at all."

"A wonderful studio in a peaceful and secluded property. Everything we needed was provided. We made great meals and enjoyed the view while dining. We were lucky to see an eagle flying by. The Piggly Wiggly Mini has a great variety. Good restaurants! The State Park was fantastic and very close! Lots of nice shops and restaurants in Apalachicola. Able to book less than a week! A fantastic get away!! "
