"Royal Island is a paradise! This was our first time to the Maldives and didn't know what to expect. The service was top notch from the time we stepped foot on the island. Staff were available to check in all groups arriving on the boat at the same time, so there was no waiting. We were set up with a contact via WhatsApp (Mark) and he kept us up to date with what was going on at the island each day and was available to address all of our questions. The food at the buffet was good and each dinner had a different theme keeping it interesting. Our server Naseer was friendly and efficient. Finally the setting! The island is beautiful! The clearest water outside of a pool I have ever swam in. We were at the west end of the island and there was easy access to snorkelling in the lagoon. There is some damage to the reef, but we still saw so many fish, rays and a shark. We also enjoyed the Wanderlust and Hanifaru Bay snorkelling excursions. The transfers were well planned (don't panic about not having the details until the day before). And bonus, because we had a late departure they gave us late check-out without an extra charge. Overall a fabulous experience. Highly recommend."

Breakfast was always a highlight, thanks to Azzam's warm welcome and guidance through the buffet. Meeting Ankita and Sajith added to our joy, with Sajith's incredible coffee art and cocktails. Ahoo even helped us capture perfect moments on the swings. The massages by Ana and Neva were the best we've ever had. Rijai's humor made lunchtime unforgettable. The weather wasnt great for parts of it and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was good, everyone is friendly and so much fun! The food is top!!!! "The resort staff was super friendly. The house reef was amazing to snorkel and dive. The food was excellent with so many choices for each meal. The all inclusive package made meals and alcoholic beverages super easy to select from. The sunset deluxe villa was very comfortable for three adults and was perfect to have privacy and easy access to the sand and water. The seaplane ride gave spectacular views of the atolls and brilliant shades of blue. The pool is pretty small and better suited for children wanting a break from the ocean. Overall it was a wonderful experience on a natural island with amazing sea life. "

"It was our 3rd year anniversary and we had the best time ever…first of all on arrival..we got the WARMEST welcome from Mary our hostess…she’s very kind, friendly and pays attention to details… she made us very comfortable However, on the massage sector, my wife had the WORST experience with Margaret…she didn’t pay attention to the areas requested and after complaining my wife left there in pain and sore…she wasn’t as friendly so I wouldn’t recommend her… the waiters on the other hand are really kind and nice.. The rooms aren’t properly cleaned..the hygiene is not the best and you can tell its overtime poor maintenance…stains on the white tiles here and there and green mould around the shower corners… we stayed at the water villa with a pool Other than that, the food is 10/10 … the experience was amazing…enjoyed the sunset fishing, feeding and touching the stingrays and seeing baby sharks from our villa..it was surreal.. If you like to have fun, i’d recommend checking in on a Thursday as they always have DJ night and Rachana makes the BEST sheesha…and don’t forget to ask for Mary for a splendid experience. The place was definitely worth it, we’d definitely recommend "
