"Beautiful place to stay "

"We loved our stay. We were a group of 4 members of an extended family visiting from Canada, and the gite had lots of space for us. The gite is located in a yard with a few beautiful old buildings converted to several beautiful gites with great common facilities. The buildings and yard were in excellent condition - well maintained, and next to a working farm with animals that were fun to watch. It was a short walk to the shoreline and the beautiful neighbouring village where we had coffee and croissants each morning. There are fabulous areas close by to explore in Bretagne and Normandy. Our host was very helpful, gave us great advice on things to see, and fixed a couple of things for us right away, and was very understanding when there were challenges with completing the booking. There are a few differences for those used to rentals in North America or larger centres - like renting sheets and towels, and being in a beautiful historical property that has some facilities that are more basic. We loved staying at this gite, and would gladly return if we were in the area again!"

"Great location easy walking distance of town. Short drive to all the sites! Dol de Bretagne is a great place to stay if you want to be away from masses of tourists, but able to easily travel to see the sites! "

"This was an amazing place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this cottage. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, bedding was good quality. It took us a few days to get used to the pillows, as they are very different to pillows used in UK, but this is only a small matter. We were brave and used the swimming pool, despite the slightly cool weather. The gardens are huge but unfortunately we were not able to mae the most of all of the space as the weather didn't really favour sitting outside. We did however eat outside under the canopy every night. The cottage is extremely quiet and private. Laurence is a friendly and beautifully kind lady who was on hand if we needed her. Our only negative comment was that we would have appreciated a welcome pack. We arrived late afternoon during a storm, after travelling since 8:00am. We had thankfully stopped at the supermarket when we arrived in France as we were aware that Sunday opening hours can be sporadic in France. This was a saving grace as there were no provisions at all other than 1 toilet roll and 1 dishwasher tablet. In previous stays in France we have been left tea, coffee, bread and sometimes a bottle of wine or juice. It just felt a little disappointing that this had not been considered. This did not spoil our amazing holiday but though it worth mentioning so others are prepared in advance. quality. It took us a little "

"Plenty of space (except the kitchen is small), lots for the children both indoors and out, nice pool, interesting house in a very good location."

"Nous avons passé de merveilleuse vacances dans cette location ! Il est très agréable et très bien placé bord de mer autorisé aux chiens. Proche de cancale, Saint malo ou le mont Saint Michel, nous avons pu profiter à fond. La propriétaire est très accueillante et sympathique ! Je conseille, à refaire 😊"
