"Three of us stayed at this recently remodeled cabin in Gasquet. What a wonderful stay we had! We had access to charcoal grill that we used both nights, a well stocked kitchen with all the equipment needed to prepare meals, nice toiletries, plenty of outdoor patio furniture, and a lovely, private setting (even though next to a highway). "Back to nature with all the comforts of home. Stunning property delightful home. I would move here in a heart beat and be happy for the rest of my life. Perfect retreat. I am 75, i wanted to spend some time in the deep forest but have some limiting mobility factors. This property had the right mix of tall trees, water, and shektered places to sit and enjoy nature with only a short walk. Beautiful home, many large windows so even when I was inside i could enjoy the outside . Absolutly heaven on...

"Our small family just had an amazing stay here. The gorgeous crystal clear Smith River is visible/walkable from the back porch, and this is a *perfect* home base location to see the Redwoods in the prime JS area. Joe the host was super friendly and let us use his canoe on the beautiful river, we had a little campfire out back and he has an active orchard/garden going on. "Just my mom and I used this home at the beginning of August. We both love this home. It’s perfect for two people. Or if you’re a couple with a child, this works out really well. Bring a fan because the house doesn’t have a fan if you need some air circulation, otherwise we’ll be back here again next August. Great location. Close to restaurants and the private festival. Quiet here. Great view of the river and ocean. Just love this place. "

"I have stayed at many bnbs and this one by far exceeded my expectations. Its very clean, well stocked, comfortable, and the view is incredible! The communication with the host was outstanding.
