"What makes a great hotel is the staff. From the Manager down everyone was well-trained, helpful and welcoming. It's in a great location just at the end of Chinatown about 10 mins from Birmingham New Street within easy reach of restaurants and bars. Although it's a budget hotel it's smart, modern and comfortable. Ok it may not have sophisticated dining but you can get pizza and a beer there. It's a budget hotel with luxury brand service. If I'm in Birmingham this will be my goto hotel."

"I stayed at the hotel a day before I was to continue there for a conference. Whitney is amazing!!! Just awesome! Nothing was too much trouble. However, I asked the gent in the mornings at the desk to please refill my shower gel and he didn't - I had to ask Whitney and it was done almost immediately. Breakfast was ok - wasn't awesome. Not a lot of choice in drinks and no hot chocolate for those who do not drink coffee. It was a very nice stay, just wish that the shower gel and shampoo was checked...

"I have wanted to stay here for years and the experience lived up to my high expectations. I paid extra for a city view room and it was worth it! - the view was amazing! The service I received from everyone was great too, the team really went out of their way. I was able to check in slightly early, got a complimentary drink and a nice personal touch to my room. I will be back!"

"Spacious, with plenty of storage and spotlessly clean . Lots of sockets , hairdryer and even a torch . The bed was comfortable with a nice soft duvet. Room could be heated to your own personal preferences . Access to a lovely pool. Perfect place to stay if you are attending a function at the ICC as it has a private access bridge to the centre accessible via your keycard. "Perfect for us going to a concert at the Utillita Stadium. Staff very welcoming. Room clean nothing to wow about. However, it has a kitchenette with a coffee machine and all you need. Will definitely use it again if i go to a concert."
