"I like Hinterzarten very much. The atmosphere, the quiet, the view, the clean air, the people. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and had a great time. The room and the hotel are very clean, the bed is very comfortable, the room is very large and has a balcony, towels are changed every day, and the staff was lovely and great. On the last day we had to leave for the airport at 6.30 in the morning and the kitchen staff prepared us a very tasty lunch bag containing: slices with yellow cheese,...

"Very nice hotel with a great sauna that wasn’t super busy, restaurant had delicious food with a nice views, private beach on the lake was really enjoyable and even though our room was 300m up a very steep hill (and we had no car) the views were well worth it. Only downside was there was no spa treatments or massages available as the person was on leave. This town is definitely a place where you want to indulge in such activities, especially in peak August season. Would recommend staying here....
