"For UK guests, having to take your own bedding and towels is a negative. Location is not a two-minute walk into town: ten minutes in, nearly twenty back as it’s all up! The bus from town finishes at 5pm. Kitchenette is facilitated - just. A dining table would be nicer than the fixed worktop, especially as there is room. The specification suggests there is a bedroom but it is a studio apt with a separate bathroom. Good sized balcony and large glass doors a definite bonus with a decent view."

I arrived late, in the dark, and luckily my son lives in the apartment block next door so he got the key for me from the hausmeister. There is no obvious hausmeister office outside, he lives inside the block, so you would need to know which number he is in to press the buzzer for entry, and that was not provided. "Very nice appartment and plenty of space for our group of 4. Everything we needed and a short drive to the ski lifts. The host was difficult to get hold of on vrbo but once we had whatsapp hs was extremely helpful and communicative."

Only a 5-minute walk (I walk fast) to the MPreis supermarket, and a few minutes more to the centre of Söll. Söll is a great choice in itself, but also for exploring the spectacular surrounding area - Scheffau, Ellmau, Going, St. Johann, Kitzbühel, Westendorf, the Wildschönau….."
