"Absolutely gorgeous hotel and grounds. The staff go above and beyond and really do pay attention to detail (kids colouring tables, board games and wellies to hire, as well as a box of sticks for dogs!). I was dubious about taking my 6 year old twins as I wasn’t sure if the hotel was kid-friendly, but the staff made them feel so welcome and they even got free ice creams! The room was lovely. Clean, comfortable and light. We were lucky enough to have sunny weather, so sitting out on the terrace with a drink and the view of the grounds was pretty much perfection! Breakfast was also great (also some of the cooked food could have been hotter). Only downside was that the spa needs updating (steam room and changing rooms mainly) as there are signs of rust and paint deterioration. Despite this, all in all a fantastic family stay and we shall return! "

"Very good Hotel. Check in was excellent, the lady on the desk extremely helpful. Beautiful champagne bar and everywhere was in good condition. The room was spacious, the bed enormous and the shower and bath brand new. Staff in the bar and elsewhere were excellent."

"For the price I paid I wasn't expecting the world, but I've stayed in similar hotels for lower prices and generally had much better experiences. The room was very dusty and stuffy even with the fan on & window open, and the surroundings noisy due to the location of the room with various deliveries early in the morning. I was also kept awake from a neighbour's snoring all night so would question the quality of the walls! Tv seemed to have issues and kept cutting out which was annoying. Experience outside the room was ok with friendly staff, good parking etc. so I hope my room was just a one-off bad and that the other rooms offer a more pleasant stay."
