The Space:
Our BRAND-NEW cottage is perfect for someone looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation. It is in the heart of the Finger Lakes, on the West side of Seneca, and is a short distance from towns, wineries, breweries, restaurants, hiking trails, and more. We also have all the amenities you would need to feel at home, including a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, and Wi-Fi. Sit on the large front porch with your morning coffee or evening wine and look out at the quiet neighborhood, beautiful woods, creek sounds, and lake view.
You will be approximately 600 ft from the front door to the water, with the only stairs being the few on the front porch! Once there, you enter a fenced, private area with over 150 ft of lake frontage. Our lakefront area has a pavilion with two picnic tables you can rent (ask the host), a fire pit area with eight adirondack chairs for your use, a beach area, and a private dock that now has a slip for each property. The approximate inside dimensions for our slip are 136" inches, 11.33' feet.
We are dog friendly, with two dogs maximum, and our community has a private dog park! Fully fenced in, let your pup enjoy themselves with a little off-leash run time! We also have some small dog bowls, some extra poo bags, and a sizeable two-door dog crate with a cover (42"L x 28"W x 31"H) in the garage for when you have activities planned where your pup cannot join you!
Additionally, our cottage is within walking distance of TWO restaurants. If you've visited the finger lakes before, you know that's rare unless you stay in town!

The Neighborhood:
Okay, so here's the lowdown on Seneca Lake. It's a pretty big ole body of water - 43,343 acres to be exact - and it goes 38 miles in length with 75.4 miles of shoreline! Its deepest point is 618 feet and its max width is 3 miles, while its elevation hits at 445 feet. Best known cities at each end? North: Geneva, South: Watkins Glen.
When it comes to killer grapes, you can't go wrong in the Finger Lakes Region. From Riesling, Chardonnay and Cab Franc in whites to Lemberger (Austria-Hungarian variety) and other reds, almost all of 'em get their flavor from Seneca Lake's microclimate. Yup–the lake's deep waters, rolling hills around its edges and extended warmth each season led to longer growing seasons which creates more sugar in the berries... and sweeter juice that sometimes becomes award-winning vino. Flip a coin: domestic or international–the Finger Lakes have both!
Getting Around:
You should plan on getting to the Finger Lakes with your own vehicle, because there's some great scenery along the way. But once you're here, why not take a break from driving? You can book a tour with a limo, an SUV, or even a van for your group, and let someone else be responsible for getting you around safely. There are wine and beer tours available as well! Plus, if you decide to go it alone, we've got Uber and Lyft drivers who can take you around town too.
Other Things to Note:
We've got awesome books, puzzles, and games to enjoy during your stay. Kids of all ages can find something they'll love! And if you're travelling with a little one, no worry- the closets in our space make the perfect (and cozy!) spot for a pack-n-play or crib. Plus, tall people rejoice: we have super tall shower heads and mirrors so everybody can be comfortable! We here at this place know how important that is since my hubby is over 6 feet tall!
For those who are tall - the shower heads and mirrors are tall-people friendly! I'm only 5-4" so I never have this issue, but my 6'-3" husband is always sad when the shower head is at eye level!
