"This hotel had such promise, nice communal areas, large rooms and in a good location close to the town center. However, not only was the food very expensive and not of a high quality, this hotel was so cold and had such poor heating. In the middle of winter at times -2dc through the day, neither of the two communal fires were lite and there was no other heating in the entire hotel. "I had booked Aamod Dalhousie for 2 nights (19th - 20th Dec 2019) . As luck would have it, Dalhousie experienced heavy snowfall during that week and roads leading up to Aamod was closed to traffic as a safety measure. I was told that the only option of reaching Aamod was by walking on foot, in ankle deep slippery snow on an uphill terrain measuring 4 to 5 Km.
