Welcome to this distinctive vacation property managed locally by Island Time Hilton Head.

5 Rice Lane is a renovated Sea Pines home with a private pool. This coastal home is perfect for vacationing. Be welcomed in by the living room, where you can relax and watch television or unwind with a great book. Heading through the home, the kitchen has ample space to cook a great meal for the family. It has an open layout to the dining room, which makes it easier to entertain family and friends. The dining room seats eight, and the kitchen has two bar stools.

Located on the first floor is the primary bedroom. The bedroom has a king bed. The bathroom doubles as a guest bathroom with a walk-in shower. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms. The second bedroom has a king bed. The third bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bunk bed with a workspace. The guest bathroom also features a walk-in shower.

Outside, you have plenty of space to lounge by the pool and soak in the rays. This home has it all for a beach vacation.

We liked this property and it was convenient to pretty trails, the pool could use a deep clean but overall it was a beautiful backyard

Great place in Sea Pines
Terrific home to stay and enjoy all that Sea Pines has to offer. We biked every where and never got in our car the entire week. Beautiful beach is less than a mile away. House was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Shaded pool made for a great break from the heat.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our first time using Island Time and we will definitely use again! Great place and the location was perfect! Quick drive to Harbor Town and outside of Sea Pines as well! The house has everything and nothing was needed except our groceries! Plates, silverware, cups/mugs, all the towels. It was nice and cozy and felt like home away from home! We joked about putting an offer in just to see if they would see we loved it that much!

A little disappointed
Despite the staff being nice the outside seating was covered in debris and the pool was dirty. We didn’t even use the pool because it was so dirty. The house itself is cluttered with knickknacks. The toilet backed up however the staff promptly sent a plumber out. Tidying up the outside including cleaning the pool would greatly enhance a future guest’s stay.

The house was fine the pool and the property was dirty. Two doors down they was building new construction and we heard construction workers all day then all week they were cutting down trees in the front and I must have had 12 trees piled up in my front yard I requested to have some money returned due to the noise and nothing was done to compensate me. Also verbo is too expensive their fees are astronomically high and you do not need to use verbo to go to Hilton Head.

Enjoyed our stay but house needs improvements
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time in Hilton Head so we were a little disappointed with the exterior of the house and pool which need some work. The inside of the house was nice and seemed clean and the location was good except we felt it was a bit shady and further from the beach than we thought. We loved the bike paths and access to the beach club and lighthouse which were great. Kitchen was stocked with lots of dishes and cookware and the house is bright and has lots of windows but we never used the outdoor space because it wasn't comfortable. Overall we had a nice vacation but felt that it was a bit expensive but I guess that what you pay for the area.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was good. You can walk or ride to the beach very easily from the house. However, the windows of this home were filthy on the outside. The outdoor cushions were not usable because they were soaked. On the inside, two burners on the stove did not function, the vacuum had not been emptied in a long time and we had to request for one of the quilts to be cleaned. Overall, we were disappointed with this property and would not recommend it.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I/we find it negligent of Island Time and or the Owner of the property at 5 Rice Lane to rent this house out to the public, the house is/has been neglected in many ways and it is a serious danger to the tenant. Our party received multiple injuries as a result of Island Times negligence and refusal to maintain the home in a safe condition. The concerns below were brought to Island Time's attention during our stay but no one addressed any of these serious safety and health issues which all should have been addressed and corrected BEFORE renting this home out to someone. Our party (including our beloved dog) was sickened when the rental property was sprayed with toxic pesticides/insecticides during our stay without our knowledge or consent. Island Time has promised for over a week to provide the requested information regarding the pesticide/insecticide that made us sick but they have refused to provide this critical information, they have lied and lied some more and they have refused to take their responsibilities as a property manager seriously. Island Time informed me their policy is to always inform a tenant if a vendor needs to access the property but they refused to do so in this case and they made us sick. Island Time further informed me that they have never fully inspected the property at 5 Rice Lane for health or safety issues despite that being one of their primary responsibilities. The property is a danger to the tenant and Island Time knows it but continues to rent the property. Horrible customer service, inaccurate property description. Dont do business with Island Time, find another rental company.
