“Dune it Right" in Palmetto Dunes!

Why pack more than you need! We have bikes, beach chairs, beach cart, beach towels, kid carrier, pool/beach toys, board games, crib/high chair and a kitchen filled with everything you need but the food! Plus your are VERY close to the beach! Pool/spa is open all year. You may heat the pool & spa for an additional fee.

Our home features 5 bedrooms 5.5 baths located on the Inverness side of Gated Palmetto Dunes. Beautiful tile flooring throughout the main living areas, kitchen, dining area and bathrooms. Large and spacious open kitchen has granite counters, new appliances and opens to the great room with vaulted ceilings. Screened in back porch off the living room and opens up to the wooded backyard with private pool and spa.

The master bedroom has a king bed with a flat-screen television, and private access to the deck; the master bathroom features a garden tub and tile shower & granite countertops. Three of the remaining bedrooms have a queen bed with private bathrooms, with two double beds in the last bedroom. All bedrooms have private bathrooms and flat screen TV's.

Palmetto Dunes Features: The premier gated resort; Palmetto Dunes resort located mid island on 1800 well-preserved acres, features 3 miles of white sand beach, 11 miles of winding lagoons, largest tennis center on the island with 25 tennis courts, with three public world-class golf courses and guest fitness and tennis centers. Canoe and kayak through the intricate 11-mile lagoon system or relax with shopping, dining and kids' activities and entertainment. At the heart of Palmetto Dunes is Shelter Cove Marina, a signature waterfront neighborhood that hosts some of the best island cuisine, boutiques, art galleries, watersports, tours, kids events and a weekly waterfront fireworks display (seasonal).

Access to Palmetto Dunes Buggy, a seasonal van that will pick up you up at your vacation rental and take you to Shelter Cove Harbour, the Dunes Beach Club, Shelter Cove Towne Center or the Plaza at Shelter Cove. The Buggy currently runs April through September.

Great house and a great location. Easy walk to the beach and plenty to do in that area of Palmetto Dunes. The owners were very helpful and I would definitely stay at this house again.

Great getaway at Hilton Head
I stayed her with our family of 8. We were close to the beach -5 minute walk. Pool was great. Plenty of sun. Rooms were a perfect fit with everyone having their own bathrooms. Would stay her again.

The VRBO was as advertised with GREAT host communication. Very clean and great location. Bikes were nice plus all the beach stuff we used. Peggy was in constant communication which was a comfort factor. Private pool and Hot tub didn't hurt.

Great location. Leafy neighborhood, short walk to the beach. Great interior layout with open spaces and plenty of bedrooms, etc. kitchen had everything we needed and then some for family meals. Definitely coming back to this place.

Exactly what we were looking for
The house was immaculate and there is so many amenities available in the home that made packing and traveling so much easier, like wagons and coolers for the beach. As well as bikes for the entire family to use, a baby tow-behind that my daughter loved and so many fun toys for the pool. The hosts were so attentive and responsive to any needs and made our vacation wonderful. This stay was absolutely perfect

Family Vacation
This house, location and amenities were all as described and just beautiful. It was the perfect vacation home for our family with three teens and the grandparents. The pool was amazing and right out the back door. We didn’t even need to rent bikes. They have a garage full of them to use. The owners checked in and were helpful and welcoming. It was a great vacation rental.

The home was perfect for our family celebration. Peggy was very helpful throughout our stay. There were 8 adults & 1 child. We had plenty of room to have privacy. We used the bicycles and the wagon to take our grandchild to the beach.

Great Family Vacation
We had a great time on our vacation in HH staying at this beautiful home. Its well apportioned, very comfortable and convenient to all things. The owner is very responsive to any questions or needs. Amazing
We had the best week in this rental. We are regularly renting big beach houses, but never had one that was so well equipped. It has a great layout as the bed rooms are as far away from the living area as they can be, which allowed our little ones to sleep well. The short walk to the beach and location of the house in the very end of St. George with no traffic made it even more enjoyable for the little ones to play safely outside.

The home was beautiful and lacked nothing we needed! Description was perfect! Nice quiet neighborhood. The walk to the beach was about 5 minutes. Not far and not a dangerous route for our littles. The bikes were a great extra! Peggy was excellent to work with!

Stunning property
The pictures don’t do justice to this property. Truly beautiful and plenty of space to give privacy for the introverts. Peggy goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. We found a few issues that we wanted her to be aware of but didn’t bother us. She had her crew there right away. They didn’t waste anytime making sure everything was corrected. Her properties will be on the top of our list if we visit again.

First Peggy was amazing to deal with! Super friendly and extremely responsive. The property was very nice and we loved the neighborhood. It was a short walk to the beach, less than 10min. The beach was very nice and clean with lots of sand space! Overall a great experience!

Simply Wonderful!
The pictures and descriptions don't do this property justice. Not only is it beautiful, but It had all the necessities and more to make our week long trip easy and fun. The owner was hands-on, checking to make sure that we had everything we needed. The community was a plus with free transportation to local destinations. We would definitely come back!

House is awesome!
This house was great! SO SPACIOUS! Owners were very responsive for whatever we needed, kitchen fully stocked, plenty of seating everywhere! Bikes, linens, beach towels, beach chairs ALL INCLUDED!! Our only complaint is the pool is shaded, which i know they’re not allowed to take down trees. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this wonderful house!

Nice place to stay in Hilton Head
This is one of our family gatherings, which we have every three or so years. There were eight of us all together. We loved the swimming pool which was nicely heated and we went to the beach several times. Lots of great restaurants in the vicinity. All in all a very worthwhile experience my only complaint would be is the fact that the host limited the air conditioner to max of 74° I am more custom to living in South Carolina at 77° and believe me at 3° difference it makes a big difference

Peggy's home is perfect! The Palmetto Dunes is the perfect location. Peggy's home was just as pictured and more! Peggy's instructions were perfect so we did not worry about anything! The house was clean and ready to go the moment we arrived. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was so nice when traveling with a group, everyone had their own space. The way the kitchen opens up to the seating areas made it perfect for socializing with family. We highly recommend this home! It does not disappoint 😊

Wonderful home!
What a wonderful time we had staying at this house, would highly recommend it! It was our family of 5 and another family of 4...plenty spacious for all of us. Such a well stocked kitchen to cook in on nights when you don't feel like going out! The house was very clean and well stocked with towels and other essentials when we arrived.A short walk/ride to the beach made it super easy. Kroger was a short trip to buy groceries and there are a ton of great restaurants close by. Peggy was quick to respond any time we had questions. was our third trip to HHI and would defiantly rent again from Peggy and Dave.
