We absolutely loved our stay here!
We're planning on coming back in the fall sometime to see the trees turn... There's a fantastic drive between Honobia and Talahina on a winding, hilly, two lane road we plan on driving.
Thanks so much Jed, we can't wait to come back!
I brought my two sons and my father in law to the cabin for a boys weekend. We had a wonderful time. The property is great, the boy loved the kayaks and the river. We will definitely come back again in the future! The host was very accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had.
This property was amazing. Great little get away and both my boys didn’t even want to leave. Dogs were by our side as soon as we arrived until we departed. Highly recommend this cabin if you want to be away from other cabins as this is one of 4 on the property. The seclusion was exactly what we were looking for.
This was an amazing stay. Jed gave clear instructions and also gave tips to the places to go if you needed anything from town. My Husband loved the river and land. My favorite thing was the puppers. They are always down to play.
Clean and very cute little cabin. It was nice to walk down to the river and admire the stunning scenery. We came in the winter and didn’t play in the river but it looks like it would be super fun to do that. We got to watch some eagles and loved playing with the sweet dogs. We loved that it was a secluded and quiet location. Very special place!
Loved this one room cabin. Enjoyed the peace and quiet and fell in love with dogs, Buddy and Blue. Only negative was cell phone didn't work in that area of country, only in or near the cabin. Some of the locals said Verizon doesn't work around there.
The highlight of our stay was definitely playing fetch every morning with the adorable dogs Bleu and Buddy, who brought so much joy to our trip. The property itself was stunning and provided a peaceful atmosphere, allowing us to relax and unwind. The cabin was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I must also commend Jed for his prompt responsiveness and for graciously allowing us to enjoy his wonderful property.
Our stay was marvelous, and included everything you could imagine for a lovely nature-inspired vacation. The hosts were super nice, but their two dogs were the best! We looked forward to their loving and playful antics each time we left the cabin. Totally had the best time at the dirt track race on Saturday night. A visit to Clayton and Sardis Lake were also highlights of our trip. The lush green beauty of the mountains will be calling us back soon.
We stayed at the cabin for our honeymoon. Everything was great. The pups Bleu and Buddy were fun to play with and great “protectors” at night! Overall it was a great experience. We took our hotspot so we had an internet connection. I had heard some people didn’t get signal but we have att and had 1-2 bars the whole time we were there. We definitely recommend this for a fun getaway!
Love Love it ... We loved how we were greated with Blue and Bubba, wonderful and watchful dogs . My nephew loved playing with them . The host was excellent and the cabin was the cutest and very very clean . It rained but was able to still enjoy the lake ...the atmosphere was giving nature, peace quiet. I'm going to miss the dogs a lot.
Will be back again really soon .
Thank you again for letting us enjoy your cabin and sharing nature life

We were greeted by the sweetest dog ever. He wanted to play the whole time we were there. Later we were welcome by another dog which I think was his brother. The place was beautiful. I was a little disappointed in how far away it was from Broken Bow, and Beavers Bend. It’s an hour away from Broken Bow, and the main attractions. So we didn’t get to do a lot of things since it was so far out.
We stayed here 3 nights for our annual Corvette Weekend. We try to find unique places to stay that are away from the crowds. This cabin is wonderful, clean, and quiet. Very isolated with lots of great roads to drive in the area. No Cell coverage on Verizon and T-Mobile was a plus for us. (AT&T has coverage). Location has two dogs, Buddy and Bleu who are well behaved and visit often wanting to have you throw a ball for them. Seems like they slept on our porch at night. Great cabin if you want quiet and a place to unwind. Bring steaks to grill and other food since good restaurants are a 1 to 1.5 hour drive away.
This was a great little cabin stay for me and my wife. She booked this for a quick get away for my 46th bday and a weekend to recharge. If you want quiet solice this is it!
The river is beautiful to walk. It was still to cold to get oun the water for us. There are 2 Border Collies on the property that were a blast to play fetch with and walk the property with. They were very friendly and my wife felt comfortable walking the property by herself at one point because those dogs stayed right with her.
The property owner was easy to communicate with, gave good tips of things to do and very kind.
This is definitely a property we will keep in mind for future trips.
We spent our anniversary weekend at the little river cabin. Check in process was sent to us in advance and codes worked perfect. The cabin is very secluded in a gated area and very private. No noise, no traffic. The cabin was stocked with everything you would need, dishes, paper goods, cooking supplies, towels and even full size toiletries!! None of those tiny trial size shampoos and hotel soap! The cabin was spotless with beautiful linens and plush bedding. Outdoor chairs around the fire pit and on the porch. The river and mountains are peaceful and relaxing, gorgeous nature. And we did enjoy our welcome crew that hung out with us and protected us from bigfoot even guarded our door all night for us. Very playful Blue and Buddy. We will definitely recommend this tranquil get away.
Thanks!

Absolutely loved this little cabin! Booked it for my birthday weekend for a little reading retreat and it was the best decision ever. The weather was overcast and raining the whole time but we were loving it. The land and trees are breathtaking, the cabin is perfect for 4 and had everything we needed. No oven, but we cooked on the Blackstone all weekend and now I want one of my own. Wifi was slow, but being out that far it is understandable and truly not an issue. Jed was quick to reply to all my questions, and was very kind! The river was cold, but we still wadded in and had the best time. Didn't end up kayaking but there are kayaks and canoes provided. Honestly the whole trip was amazing and we will definitely be back! 10/10!
Buddy and Blue get their own review! Buddy met us at the cabin and greeted us with our first of many fetch games. Blue came up a little later and joined in. Both pups are so sweet and loved playing fetch and going on walks. They stayed right with us the whole weekend and we loved it! Almost had to take them home with us! 10/10!
