I travel all over the U.S. and have stayed in many places. I have never felt this uncomfortable and unwelcome ever. This lady was the rudest and unwelcoming person for the job.
When we walked into the lobby it immediately smelled like cigarette smoke. This was about 6:30 in the evening. There was no front desk clerk. We waited for about 5 minutes and decided to call to see if a ringing phone would get someone's attention - it did not. So we kept waiting. We could have helped ourselves to the 'market' for sure, but of course we didn't. After about 10 minutes the front desk clerk arrived to get us checked in. Her shirt had burn holes in it, so I am guessing she is the reason the lobby smelled like smoke and also guessing she was on a smoke break when we arrived. The room was nice and clean. One elevator was out of order, the other was also having some problems so that was a little sketchy. Grabbed a bagel in the morning for breakfast and noticed it was moldy.
