"Older hotel. No frills but clean. Could use a little modernization. No cups in the room at all. Difficult for coffee and brushing teeth. We made due. Location was great and good breakfast. "

"We was picked up at the airport by Reggie who was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We was greeted by Maria who also was outstanding and made us very welcomed. We enjoyed a glass of wine at the bar with Maria and Chris. We enjoyed our conversation with them. Hyatt place Jacksonville airport Florida is an excellent place to stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. We stayed for one night as we was went on our cruise and we are staying another night when we return from our cruise. I’m so thankful I found this place to stay on our trip. The staff is AAA +++"

"The cleaning staff would not change out my towels and it was not communicated to me that I would have to take my towel up to the desk to get fresh towels daily. After working 12 hours the last thing you want to do is have to go change or your towels. "

"Beautiful hotel with amazing ocean views. They had a bottle of wine and candy waiting for us in our ocean view suite. Bathrrom was nicely updated with a walk in shower and there was a Kuerig coffee maker, small fridge and microwave in the area where there was a loveseat and writing desk along with a TV. Another TV was in the bedroom as well (queen size bed). Only issue in the suite was the blinds needed replaced as they had broken and hanging slats, but we pulled them all the way up to enjoy the ocean views so we didn't have to look at them. Breakfast was nice with lots of hot options if you didn't want cereal or bagels. Front desk person was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was in a great area close to historic downtown Fernandina although too far to walk. We would definitely stay there again."

"The staff at this hotel are fabulous. I was in florida from ohio at this hotel because my brother was ill and a patient at univ florida medical center 5 miles away. It was a difficult time as my brother was gravely ill. Not once did i pass the front desk that the staff didn't ask about him. If it were in eveming they would send me to room with a snack. The morning breakfast was great and i shared i was diabetic. They would send me off with a container of juice a piece of fruit or even a begal with jam and cream cheese. I would take a carton of milk and cereal to my room frig for a bedtime snack. Every one was just so supportive and kind. Jusht what this 77 year old needed"

"We had an enjoyable stay. The beds and pillows were comfy. The food was good for breakfast. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Had a nice shopping area. Loved that it was walkable. The Patio Restaurant was very good. Had a great time. Would come back again."
