'Deerfield Park Angler's Hideaway' is a beautiful Black Hills paradise that offers a peaceful setting with a feel of seclusion, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Listen for the turkeys gobbling, the bull elk bugling, and the coyotes howling. Watch as the Bald Eagle swoops down and pulls a fish out of the lake. You can't help but feel like a part of nature.. Located in the 'Heart of the Hills,' it's close to most of the main attractions. This is a rare opportunity to rent a condo on one of Black Hill's finest fishing lakes, literally 50 yards off our rear deck. 'Catch and Release' is greatly appreciated. We want to preserve this great fishing opportunity. Don't fish? Then step out back and let the panoramic view take your breath away. You will be amazed! This property is located just 11 miles from Hill City. You will travel on 9 miles of Highway and two miles of very well maintained gravel road. Enjoy hiking, biking, ATVing, Snowmobiling or skiing! They are all close by.

Perfect home away from home!
This was the perfect place for our family. It had all of the amenities we needed with gorgeous views and so much privacy. Loved how clean the place was as well! Would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Beautiful place to stay
Our Family of 7 stayed here for our visit to South Dakota. Great location not to far from town (or anything else for that matter) and BEAUTIFUL scenery. I could have stayed on the deck all day! We saw lots of deer, geese, hawks, osprey, turkeys and other birds. The house is beautiful we never felt cramped and all the beds were comfy. We would stay here again on our next trip out hands down.

Everything was as in pictures even though it was raining all of our stay we enjoy staying there it was an escape from our jobs and a perfect place for our kids they had board games, we got to see deer, and eagles fishing, it was just beautiful Hill city is close by so we were able to get groceries from there.

Great location with beautiful views and quiet surroundings. Amenities provided were satisfactory. The one thing that may take off a half-star rating are the beds that were creaking. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

This was exactly what I was looking for in my get away to the Black Hills. Great location, secluded, nature, quiet, just wonderful. Condo was besutiful, full of everything we needed. Monte and Diane are wonderful to work with, very attentive. Will be looking them up again for next year.

Black Hills with our British Family
5 night stay, 4 adults, 2 children (13&10) Spent most of our days away from property. Beautiful setting and view of the mountains. It was nice to get away from the town, Hill City is a nice place, fun to walk around a bit, grab a coffee at Caboose Coffee or a drink at one of the saloons. But loved staying up in the national forest—expect a 15-20 minute drive from Hill City! Worth it for the peace and quiet and lovely accommodations!

This was the perfect quiet place! So beautiful and peaceful to unwind from my daily grind! It was centrally located for daily motorcycle rides to some of the most beautiful places! The manager was very helpful and friendly allowing me to bring some very special friends that really needed to enjoy life again! This property and people made that possible! Idyllic location, excellent accomodations
We had a wonderful five nights at this property. We felt like we had the lake to ourselves for paddle boating and swimming. We did some day trips around the Black Hills, but would have been perfectly content going nowhere. It was my wife and I, and our three boys (17, 15, 7). Was pleasantly surprised to find upgraded grill and A/C from the photos. Would absolutely recommend this property and will likely return ourselves.

Beautiful property
This was a great place to stay and very beautiful setting on a private mountain lake. Toward the end of our stay we encountered a terrible hailstorm that knocked out the power and it was such a remote location that there were no power, communications or internet and when the power was off for several hours we had to evacuate because none of the flashlights were working, our phones were dead and the windshields were broken out of our vehicle and it was filled with water. Despite that, it's a lovely cabin and I'd stay there again.

Could not get over the view!
As the other reviews warned, this place is 15-20 minutes out of town. But it’s so worth it. The scenery is amazing. It is so peaceful and quiet. My boys went fishing at the lake and had some luck. We enjoyed riding our side by side around and through the trails. The condo was well stocked. It was a bit small, outdated, and only one bathroom, but that’s just our own issue. The place itself was wonderful- it was clean. One con was that no bonfires are allowed. The beds were comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful get-away
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin/condo. The neighborhood was quiet and the cabin amenities were nice. The upstairs was a bit warm our first night but the outside temp dropped and we we were able to open the windows the next night. The beds upstairs were comfy for the kids. The queen on the lower level was satisfactory but not great. The lake was beautiful and we definitely took advantage of the paddle boat and fishing. I would definitely recommend. I only wish we were able to relax at the condo a bit more. We were so busy taking in the surrounding area during the days that we had minimal time to just relax at the condo. Great place for our family of five.

Breathtaking views
Our family of six stayed in early September. The biggest draw to this rental are the views! Looking out at the lake and hills each morning was so breathtaking. Our kids also loved fishing in the pond and they all caught quite a few! The size is tight for a family of six, but we got by just fine; just don't expect the full size amenities you may get at a regular condo. We liked eating meals on the deck overlooking the pond and even grilled one night. It would have been nice if there was a door to the upstairs where the kids slept. The fan in the bathroom did not work and either did the exhaust fan for the stove. Other than that, we did not experience any big surprises. I would definitely recommend this rental.
