Wir waren zum Geocachen hier und fanden in der herrlichen Umgebung viele lohnenswerte Ziele. Wer nicht gut zu Fuß ist, hat allerdings ein paar Probleme das Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoß über die kleine Treppe zu erklimmen...besonders wenn man mehrmals nachts zur Toilette muss. "Etwa die Hälfte der Zeit waren wir 10 Erwachsene und ein Baby. Gemeinsam unten oder im Haus verstreut, wir kamen uns nie in die Quere. Schöne Zimmer und hervorragende Ausstattung. Wetterbedingt mussten wir leider die Erkundung der Umgebung und die Nutzung des Gartens einschränken, aber das ist natürlich nicht die Schuld des Vermieters. Die Tatsache, dass wir bereits darüber gesprochen haben, wiederzukommen, sagt genug darüber aus, wie wir unseren Aufenthalt genossen haben."

Für einen Kurzurlaub ist die Unterkunft auch zu viert (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder (10 und 14) völlig ok. Das Problem mit den Mücken besteht leider weiterhin. Das Kinderzimmer ist im Sommer so heiß, dass man die Fenster einfach aufmachen muss. Dann hat man aber die Mücken drin. Das gleiche im Schlafzimmer... bei der Treppe muss man aufpassen, aber da man das...

Furnished with thought and a good eye for antique decor. You do need a car, and Eisenach isn't far. Surrounding roads are quiet and were empty when we went there - big supermarket 10 min drive away. Wifi connection great and the host was just lovely."

Es war alles da was man braucht und von der Terrasse aus konnte wir beim Grillen die Kinder im Auge behalten, welche sich auf dem Spielplatz austoben konnten. Des Weiteren findet man viel in der Nähe gelegenen Ausflugsziele."

"Wir waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende im roten Ferienhaus (kleine Anlage mit insgesamt 3 Häusern) und haben die Tage bei bestem Wetter sehr genossen. Ideal ist der Edeka mit Bäcker um die Ecke, auch die kurzen Entfernungen für Wanderungen im Hainich, zum Schwimmen im Stausee oder Stadtbummel in Mühlhausen sind sehr angenehm. Die Küchenzeile ist ziemlich klein, aber da wir gegrillt haben, war das kein Problem. Schade war, dass der auf dem Foto zu sehende Kaffee-Vollautomat nicht vorhanden...
