Charles, the host, was awesome. The beds were really comfortable and the bedding was clean. When you go here, know that you are roughing it. My only complaint is that the bathrooms need some work (deep clean). Regardless, we’d go back and recommend that you give it a try, if you are looking for a neat experience in a remote area with beautiful scenery.

We stayed back in March (it was cold at night even with a heater and heated blanket provided but we were prepared for that) and we’ve continued to recommend this spot to our friends who are travelling in the area! Loved everything about this place, Charles and Heather were amazing hosts. The bathrooms were clean, they also have a local pantry were they have disposable plates, utensils and cooking dishes so no need to bring. They also have coolers to borrow and you can purchase ice, firewood and charcoal onsite. The views were amazing I will definitely be back soon.
