Pleasant- but needs improvement
The staff there were amazing. Extremely friendly and always there for information. Sadly though the place itself isn't well maintained. If they are able to get to get on top of this now they can really turn this around. Swimming pool: the tiles around the edge and the gutter needs to be cleaned daily. The chipped tiles need replacing. And where the tiles meet on the corners on the steps are sharp. This just needs to filed in with a grout. Bedroom itself is spacious and lovely. The bathroom having the outdoor feeling I like. The concept is 5* however it hasnt been well maintained. Shower head is falling off and there is Mold/ rust on the handles etc. This again needs to be cleaned/ polished everyday. Even when the room is vacant. If they can get on top of the maintenance work. Repair/ replace the areas that are worn or damaged. Keep on top of work from there this place is 5*. But the work needs to be done now to change it around as I would go back here. If you could please email me I'd be extremely grateful. I believe I've left a jacket behind. I tried to contact you through the number on the booking email however it doesn't work now I'm back in the UK.

Nice location close to the beach
Nice location close to the beach surrounded by jungle. Monkeys in the trees, wild peacock had a visit too. Large pool with limited guests. Management good cooked a couple of meals for us which where enjoyable. At night search for the fire flys through the day enjoy the birds which sing. It's near the railway track, not to close but all of the resorts either face the main road or back on the railway in Hikkaduwa. Well worth a visit if you don't like large complexes.

Perfect location close to the beach (5 min) but still off enough to enjoy the local feeling. The service and the staff is 5/5!

Ужасная вилла. Фотографии от действительности очень сильно отличаются. Номер очень маленький, убирают раз в пять дней, дают одну бутылку воды (0'5) на человека раз а пять дней. Интернет не работал 4 дня из пяти, что мы там жили. В номере очень грязно, везде ржавчина, и тараканы ( в том числе в холодильнике). В ванной, при заезде, нам положили один комплект мыльных средств на двоих, и за все дни больше не приносили. Завтрак- одно название: одно яйцо, две маленькие сосиськи и банан. Отель находится а джунглях, таксисты не знают как туда ехать, приходится показывать дорогу, но это не так страшно. Но эта дорога продвигает через джунгли, где ничего не освещается. Ворота закрывают в 21:00, и если ты приедешь позже, то нужно звонить хозяивам, что бы открыли. До пляжа идти мин 10-15, что не так страшно, если бы не джунгли.Мы выдержали жить там только 5 дней, потом переехали в другой отель.

Skuffende.
Til at starte med skal man være opmærksom på, at dette ikke er et hotel men et gæstehus. Derudover ligger stedet lige op af togbanen, hvor der kører et tog forbi hver halve time - som larmer yders meget. Under vores ophold som varede en uge var der ingen rengøring, vi måtte selv spørge om nye håndklæder osv. Selvom vi kunne se at de havde været inde på værelset (for at slukke lyset og air condition). Der kakerlakker, firben og myg inde på værelset. Internettet virkede ikke halvdelen af ugen, men det virkede når de selv skulle bruge det. Alt i alt er vi slet ikke tilfredse med vores ophold. Det eneste positive vi kan sige er, at vi var nogle af de eneste som var der (udover de 4 mennesker som arbejde og gik og kiggede på os). Badeværelset var desuden virkelig flot.

Cattleya Villa
Cattleya is a very nice and quiet place to relax. Staff was awesome and they made us feel welcome. The place is surrounded by trees and the pool area is great! Even the main road is close, the noises wont disturb you. Highly recommended if you want to relax and take it easy.

Fantastisk personal med ett varmt välkomnande. Villorna var omgivna av djungel och vid frukost kunde man se apor i träden. Hit åker vi gärna igen!

Trevlig personal, fridfullt läge!
Wifi fungerade inte hela tiden och när det fungerade så var det endast i matsalen. Skulle kunna vara bättre städat och lite bättre underhållet. Annars ett väldigt mysigt hotell med bra personal.
