"It’s not convenient for people using trains. The road getting to the hotel is very slippery, although it might be only a very short distance walking from the bus terminal to the hotel."

"The staff was very welcoming. We loved the craft beer happy hour and our private outdoor bath. We also loved the local people we met eating outside of the hotel and shopping for pottery. We stayed for the proximity to Zao Aki resort. We didnt use it but there was a free shuttle for that. "

"Great ryokan near the main road of zao. Excellant staff, friendly service with awesome private and public onsens. Big family room was perfect to section off our teenager. Only issue was limited self catering options if you dont take the pricey breakfast/dinner option, single small lawsons in town"
