"The inner courtyard is lovely. We had popped in for a drink when previously in Zafra so this time decided to stay. The beds were very comfortable and everywhere was clean. The breakfast was very good and we stayed for dinner, mostly due to the lovely surroundings. The service was very good and the food was fine though not outstanding. "Very central and an easy walk into centre. Lovely setting, it's partly built into the city wall. Very clean and nice communal areas. Communication is very difficult as we have limited Spanish and non of the staff spoke English but we battled through. We've stayed her several times on our way back and forwa to Cadiz and we will definitely stay again. There parking available at a rate of 10Eur per day however it's worth the extra as it is secure."

"Attractive older property located right on the old town square. Room and bathroom both decent sized, clean and tastefully decorated. Bathroom fittings a little dated but top quality including a nice steel bath 👍. Nice bar and restaurant. The only downside was my 1st floor suffered noise from the kitchen / laundry room especially 9 to 10pm. I would definitely return. "

"easy to find from a8 road hotel very basic rustic no facilities in room except bed wardrobe and bathroom hotel had no services to buy drinks or restuarant closed for breakfast plus side bathroom very good. on check out advised had to pay though i explained booked with expedia but advised this was not payment and had to pay again strange as in other hotels i stopped in hotels advised payments made.."

"The hotel is well placed for travel south in Spain being just off the A66. The room was spacious and comfortable with a good en suite facility. Less good is the restaurant which doesn’t serve food until 8pm - not good after a day’s travelling. The choice of dishes is limited and the food is not sufficiently well cooked. "Como resumen: la construcción es increíble, recreando una auténtica hacienda. El personal es fantástico, especialmente Fatima, la recepcionista. Pero hay una clara falta de personal y de coordinación, que finalmente se resuelve gracias a la buena voluntad de los empleados. Llegamos a las 8pm y nuestra habitación estaba sin hacer, otro día no cambiaron las toallas… Todo resuelto gracias a la buena voluntad de cada uno de los empleados a los que acudimos con el problema. "We have nothing but praise for this hotel! The beds were incredibly comfy, the room was way more spacious than it looked in the picture, and it is super clean! The ‘make your own breakfast’ is really smart - no need to hurry in the mornings :) It’s family run, and they are so nice and helpful. Loved them! The village is cute too, and everyone is really nice and friendly. Lovely Zafra is just a 15 minute drive away. We traveled as a family of three (child aged 8), but it is definitely best...

"i booked a room with ONE bed for couple and was charged 15 euros extra for that. we saw a cockroach in the dining room as soon as we arrived. Hotel is old, not enough blankets for cold nights, bedsheets are poor quality breakfast (extra charge) poor quality"

"The staff were very hospitable which was more similar to the customer service in the U.S. than in other parts of Spain. There were also friendly dogs that were sweet and it's in a very peaceful location. We tried a red wine from their vineyard and I had no complaints."
