"Large hotel in outskirts of Don Benito, perfect for a travel stopover, great pool but had to find loungers and set the up ourselves, also no pool towels offered, we had to negotiate with reception. Breakfast limited and crowded. "

"The hotel is well placed for travel south in Spain being just off the A66. The room was spacious and comfortable with a good en suite facility. Less good is the restaurant which doesn’t serve food until 8pm - not good after a day’s travelling. The choice of dishes is limited and the food is not sufficiently well cooked. "An unusual and old fashioned property with generous sized and comfortable rooms. A beautiful courtyard and garden make it a restful place to stay and local bars are walkable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Speaking Spanish is an advantage."

"Como resumen: la construcción es increíble, recreando una auténtica hacienda. El personal es fantástico, especialmente Fatima, la recepcionista. Pero hay una clara falta de personal y de coordinación, que finalmente se resuelve gracias a la buena voluntad de los empleados. Llegamos a las 8pm y nuestra habitación estaba sin hacer, otro día no cambiaron las toallas… Todo resuelto gracias a la buena voluntad de cada uno de los empleados a los que acudimos con el problema.
