"We were looking for a quiet getaway and found it! The house is updated, immaculate and fully appointed. It is well laid out with very comfortable furniture. There is a deck with a forest and a pond in the backyard, and a short walk through the forest to a creek. Very peaceful, with things to do in the area."

"Property owner was very responsive and easily accessible. Our power was out when we got there and we were provided updates as to when everything would be restored in a timely manner. House was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay around West Shokan."

"We enjoyed our weekend get away at this lovely, cozy cottage. The location was perfect! The cottage is clean and well stocked. We plan to return in the spring so that we can enjoy the backyard. The host is very responsive and wants to make sure everything is just right. "

"Very cute, small but cozy and comfortable. Stayed for 6 nights with my dog. Pretty remote area, extremely quiet and very pretty. Kitchen has everything you should need, the fireplace and record player are great. It was super snowy when we were there but still very warm. I will say in the winter not a great place for dog walks lol unless your dog is good off leash, which mine is not. But we managed ok. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again!!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Great location, close to everything at Windham and Hunter. The cottage was exactly as described - very clean and very comfortable. Agnes even had a fire going for us when we arrived and my daughter loved the cookies. Communication was excellent. We are looking forward to our next stay. "

"The place was “clean” but the couches and chairs had stains on them. Cobwebs everywhere. I only stayed for 50% of the time bc I couldn’t deal with all the bugs INSIDE the home. My dog was bitten by some bug. Probably a tick and I didn’t realize till later the first night. I still won’t know what if any infection she may have encountered for 4 weeks. I was specific about noise bc my dog is sensitive and my home in Manhattan is quieter as this place is right on the main road. No TV but host was...

"Beautiful property. The guest house is tucked back behind the main house with good privacy and separate entrance to the pool. The guest house has everything you need. The huge screened in porch was the highlight for me!"

"This charming home was lovely for our visit to the Catskill Mountains. The stream is right outside the door and the hot tub was relaxing. We appreciated the updated kitchen and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of towels and other essentials. There are good local restaurants five minutes away in the town Phoenicia."
