Welcome to the Lake House! Our home offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can comfortably accommodate up to 7 guests. Recently built on the Mirror Lake and and not far from the downtown Highlands. If you enjoy a walk alongside the lake and quiet evenings around the fire pit, then this it the place to stay.

Our favorite property to date!
I cannot recommend this property enough! It was perfect for our family getaway and so nice that all accommodations were on one level. Major relief with small children. The outdoor space was equally as perfect with the wraparound porch maximizing views and a cozy fire pit. Parking is also top notch with plenty of turnaround space for two large vehicles. Our favorite property to date in Highlands!

Mirror Lake
We had a lovely time at this property. Pictures don’t really show how welcoming and comfortable the home is. We took many walks throughout the neighborhood, as well as hikes in surrounding areas. Ate at a lot of great restaurants and enjoyed some meals in too! We enjoyed the fireplace in the two rainy nights we had. Very comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again!

Great House!
The house was great! We stayed for four nights in March. Very clean and nicely decorated! It had everything we needed and more, well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels etc. The location was great as well. It’s very close to town. The deck was very nice but it was a little too chilly for us to enjoy. Would highly recommend this house.

Great Location/Wonderful Home
The area around Mirror Lake is very charming and the perfect location to downtown Highlands. We enjoyed walking in the morning and sitting on the large deck. The house is equipped with everything one would need. The beds/linens are very comfortable which is important! The beautiful home exceeded our expectations and we will plan to stay here again!

Wedding Weekend
It was the perfect place to stay for a wedding in Highlands. It was close to downtown and the wedding venue. The house is spacious and we loved the fire pit. If it had been warmer we would have spent more time on the large deck. I highly recommend staying here.

A peaceful escape
January in the mountains, a fire, a glass of wine-peace and quiet. The property is amazing. Just need to plan your food needs in January in Highlands-not all of the restaurants are open.

Great house and location!
This is a wonderful place to stay in Highlands. It takes less than 5 minutes to get to downtown so you can come and go easily. The house is very well maintained and has lots of little extras that other places don't typically have (laundry detergent, trash bags, aluminum foil and other kitchen items). The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Anna is very easy to work with and a great communicator. I would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful house....freshly renovated
This Highlands house appears to have been recently renovated and was decorated nicely for a rental. Everything was perfect for a weekend getaway. We only used two of the bedrooms with the king beds. They were very comfortable. The kitchen was clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The house is very close to downtown Highlands so 5 stars on location.

Ideal for our family
We enjoyed two weeks in this wonderful Mirror Lake home. It is very private with a lush mountain foliage view even though it is conveniently located to all the amenities of Highlands. Our granddaughters paddle boarded on Mirror Lake, and we walked the Greenway trail almost every day without leaving the neighborhood. The house itself was IMMACULATE and very well equipped. We will definitely look forward to staying in this home again!!

Comfortable house, great area
My husband and I rented this home to stay in while our son was at summer camp. It could easily hold a family, and we would rent it again when we all come back to the Highlands for sure! It is very close to the main area of Highlands, and on a very quiet street, lovely neighborhood. The kitchen had everything we needed, bedding and linens were very comfortable. The shower and tub in master bath was perfect and the living room furniture was comfortable. The host/owner was responsive to all my questions as well.

Very comfortable lake house
My daughter, granddaughter and I stayed at Anna’s home for a girls trip and we had a wonderful time! The house is very comfortable and clean! We had everything we needed. Anna answered all of my questions in a very timely manner. The beds were comfy and the sheets were of nice quality. The only thing I would say is that we didn’t feel comfortable walking to town. The streets are a bit narrow and they wind around , so I probably would not walk around but I would definitely stay there again!!

Second stay as great as the first
This was our second stay here, and we love it. It was a difficult time as we were arriving the week after Hurricane Helene. The host was very helpful in addressing any concerns we had about visiting, including updates on road statuses coming into Highlands. The house is perfect for families, and a very easy location to downtown. We will continue to stay here any time the house is available for future trips.
